We run our air conditioning at full-blast, and our electric bills were less than ten dollars for the months of mid-May to mid-July, and that was only because Dominion Power added new taxes and connection fees to our bill. Yes, solar panels are expensive at first, but they have a guaranteed thirty-year life span at 98% of their rated capacity, and with the tax credit and increasing utility rates, we will recoup our investment in eight years
