A homeless man attacked a Santa Monica city councilman who asked him to stop littering, in an incident that was captured on video.

While walking at the Third Street Promenade, a popular shopping and dining area, on Sunday, Santa Monica city councilman Phil Brock noticed a homeless man ripping signs off boarded-up storefronts and tossing them on the ground.

Brock approached the man, identified by authorities as Sawyer Walden Allee, and asked if he could throw the signs away instead of littering.

Allee, 20, responded with obscenities, so Brock threw garbage out himself, KTLA reported.

How can there be homeless in America when we’re importing millions of foreigners every year just so they can vote for Democrats?

I doubt Santa Monica has any other kind of councilman.

I'm glad this one was at least confronted by the consequences of his policies. If all Democrats were forced to face the results of their insanity, America would be a vastly better place.

The 'homeless' are a sledge hammer democrats use against decent citizens. They're an industry for progressive thugs to line their pockets.

I think mentally ill or ‘druggies’ fit the majority of homeless folks (probably 80-percent). The rest have zero skills to make any income in high cost urban areas (Seattle, Portland, SF, LA, NY).

You could predict this lack of skills problem twenty years ago was going to occur.

From another source: "Brock shouted to a nearby community ambassador to go and get Public Safety Officers from the community policing station and they rushed to the scene along with five SMPD units that arrived shortly afterwards."

So Lefties in Santa Monica can create their community ambassadors and public safety officers and STILL need the police to act like --- hmm -- POLICE.

Today's liberals are idiots. As are their beloved homeless. And their community ambassadors.... And Santa Monica is a poster child for this.

My favorite three words of this article:

“Boarded up storefronts”

That tells you all you need to know about Santa Monica these days—a formerly beautiful coastal community turned to garbage by Democrats.

Who’s at fault for this incident? We can’t blame the Democrat councilman or the violent homeless man. That would not be politically correct. Who’s left? I say blame the wicked storeowners who boarded up their stores. How dare they not want to stay open in a failing city!

Then again, we can always blame Climate Change.

I hated Santa Monica 20 years ago and glad I don’t have to deal going there any longer.

Meanwhile, AI and mechanization, and offshoring labor reduce any job opportunities for the blue collar/entry level white collar occupations and more and more people will find themselves unable to find any employment other than, maybe, flipping burgers - which will be automated too, soon enough.

We need somebody in the presidency who will understand this problem and address it - let's say, Donald Trump - if we don't work on this, our children and their children will living under those overpasses.

I was watching a technical review video of a E-car (must have been 3 years ago). E-cars are figured to have only about half the number of parts...as a gas/diesel car.

So what impressed me was you could pull into a station...hook up the cabling and determine the failing component in a minute. They had determined that a 18-year old kid with minimal training could then watch the repair video....remove the failing part, and install the new part.

In their mind...50 years in the future, with mostly only e-cars, mechanics would not exist.

This political critter just got the education of a lifetime and he’ll ignore it, and the next freak won’t be some fatty who trips over himself and lays down in the gutter.

50 years in the future, we'll be lucky if we - as America - will exist.

Or have safe landfills for all those lovely worn-out E-car batteries.

Many of the problems you mentioned could be solved if they reintroduced trades programs into the high schools. The country will always need skilled carpenters, plumbers, etc.

But no. The big shots at the top have decided that those kids belong in Algebra 2 and Advanced Poetry classes instead.

(And I say that as someone who taught Algebra 2.)
