Because according to most sources Ukraine is being degraded.
Even the White House has admitted they are running out of munitions, they are suffering disproportionate casualties (according to most unbiased sources I watch) and a large % of their population base has fled the country.
Russia is 4x their population and has a stronger economic base. Some will most likely reply with something like “Russia is weak, inept and tottering on the edge of disaster”—-I will reply with : “then why is the offensive failing so miserably?”.
