Vice President Kamala Harris was ridiculed Tuesday after making a rather obvious quip in a speech about transportation.
The Veep was seated alongside Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg for an event with disability rights advocates to increase transportation accessibility.
'This issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go,' she said chuckling. 'It's that basic.'

One user referred to it as her '1st grade vocabulary class.'
Harris' latest cringey line comes after she awkwardly spewed out a 'word salad' when trying to define 'culture' at New Orleans' Essence Festival on Friday.
'Culture is - it is a reflection of our moment and our time. Right?' the vice president mused.
'And present culture is the way we express how we're feeling about the moment, and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment,' Harris continued.
'That is a reflection of joy. Because, you know,' she said, pausing and then breaking into laughter, 'it comes in the morning.'
She then added, 'We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too.'
Harris also got attention for a rambling speech she gave in February about abortion.
'So I think it's very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders for us at every moment in time and certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future,'...

But Dan Quayle misspelled potato!
Profound!
We’ve seen plenty of evidence over the last 3 years that Harris operates at the mental capacity of a 12 year old.
*WANT* to go, not *NEED* to go.
That way, the entire world could determine if she is qualified to be on the Supreme Court.
Ms Horizontal, are you and Hunter having a Coke party in the White House?
LOL! Wow, “where people need to go.” She really nailed it. Heh.
Chauncey Gardiner is a MENSA member compared to this thing.
As simplistic as that statement is, it proves she knows more about the subject than Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg .
To quote Willie Brown, “The most relaxing benefit of one of Kamala’s BJ’s is the peace and quiet.”
Can you just imagine, if she became President, what her State of the Union speeches would sound like?
No, Kamala, it's about making sure that people have the ability to get to where you and your comrades allow them to go.
Whoa! Amazing. Who would have thought that? Pure genius this woman.
Very typical of the Dems to confuse the solution with the problem.
It was a classic, wasn’t it?
While I would not say this was a great speech, it was good (although I disagree with a few points). It made me see why people (on the other side if the aisle) would vote for her and even consider her a likely VP.
1. No word salads!
2. No cackling!
3. She gave this speech with no notes, no teleprompter.
4. It was direct and filled its purpose well.
I perceive a weird disconnect between this candidate and our current VP.
She must have take some strong drugs as a teenager and it left her with a mind of an eight year old no wonder she’s always giggling.
How the hell is this woman an attorney???
