A helicopter circled my house today five or six times and once was just hovering over it. We were just looking at each other. I have about fifty tomato plants in my backyard. He should have been able to see the tomatoes on the plants. So, a solid 15 minutes of this he takes off. So am I going to get a 4:00 AM no-knock door kicking?
It’s lovely.
There’s always an excuse around here to post something uplifting, especially in odd circumstances where it’s easy to imagine the worst.
Surely these are the delicious kind of tomatoes not sold in stores, so if the OP ends up suffering a tomato raid, at least there’s a good song in the mix for support.
Years ago the WichIta PD circled my back yard and 3 or four houses northward. I was tending my tomatoes and waved (they were low enough I could see the pilot and officers clearly). Carried on with my gardening and i took a bag of garbage out front to the curb. My neighbors 2 houses north were all sitting on their front porch like a bunch of meercats on lookout. So I jokingly asked “whos growing pot in their backyard eh?” The look on their faces indicated they probably were.
Too early for pot. 50 tomato plants. The guy was being a jerk hovering over my house and just me and him staring at each other.
You need to contact local law enforcement and tell them what happened and invite them to come see your tomatoes. Then when the DEA shows up and tries to kill you local law enforcement will hopefully take your side.
You are on here, giving voice to political opinions. You will get surveillance. Nobody can imagine what they have built in the shadows while we were sleeping.

Did you use tomato seeds not certified by the State Plant Board???
Big trouble, Hoss.

Yeah... “tomato’s” I believe you : )
Just tell the police that the tomato’s are ‘medicinal’...

A Man’s Backyard Tomato Plants “Miraculously” Turned Into Cannabis

Google: tomato plant looks like marijuana
The leaves of a tomato plant are pretty similar to cannabis leaves and tomatoes similarly like to grow in subtropical climates with plenty of light. But rub the leaves of the tomato plant and the similarity ends - there is no mistaking the fresh fruity scent of the tomato.Jun 12, 2022
They are supposed to use hyperspectral imaging to make these simple mistakes. Color differences and the shape of the leaves are different. They’d have to be incredibly incompetent to mix this one up. Plus a simple drive up in the driveway in the middle of the day instead of a no knock middle of the night would be more respectful. But this heli hovering over the house and us eyeball to eyeball was just intimidation on their part.
I recommend booby-traps and high explosives. :)
Actually, probably not. If the idiot couldn’t tell what the plants were, that’s his problem. well it SHOULD be his problem, but feds have a habit of making their problems someone else’s problems.
Should have called the cops.
They will probably shoot your dog first.
Never call the cops.
So, how are you today? Did you get through the night unmolested by officialdumb?
Oh yeah. They’re not going to move that fast. It’ll take them at least a week to plan their surprise party. I knew they wouldn’t be here last night. I mean it is possible it was a survey flyover but they weren’t interested in anybody but me. I’m cornfused. I ain’t done anything to be on their radar.
God be with you. He never leaves us or forsakes us. Stay calm. If you have an attorney friend, have a chat.
