If you don't know what you are celebrating, why make any noise about it?
Plenty fireworks and celebrations in my area in north Georgia. The parade and BBQ was this morning and the festivities lasted all afternoon. Complete with local politicians, craft booths, cotton candy and funnel cakes. In addition there was Christian and Country music and a lot of children having a good time. Lots of Patriotic Americans and fun as everyone celebrated the founding of our nation.
The fireworks in my neighborhood started around dark and have been going on since then even with the rain coming down on and off all evening. We live in the woods quite away from the nearest neighbors, but I can look out the window and see the fireworks exploding above the tree line from all sides.
So don’t despair. There are plenty of American patriots still here in our country and they are holding dear our principles of freedom as much as ever!
I find this post very truthful..
In Tampa, the likelihood of lightning storms causes them to take the first of the two or three days they can do it.
That was July 2nd or 3rd this year. Good weather and it happens earlier.
They probably don’t want to offend the Africans, Muslims and Mexicans. The obnoxious and ignorant living in this country theese days prefer the naked homo clowns in “pride parades”.
There’s plenty of boom boom going on here in rural KY. I guess I’m getting cynical in my old age. It doesn’t make much sense to me to celebrate independence by setting off fireworks made in China.
Where are YOU, “cowboy” *usa*, if you don’t mind us asking?
Are you even in the USA?
Quiet, here, in TX ... tonight.
Probably because so many have to get up and GO TO WORK, tomorrow.
I know....what a concept, right?
(I just heard a few rip, as I typed this...lol.)
Hearing plenty of fireworks in our rural area of southeastern North Carolina.
Our members’ clothes were blatantly red, white, and blue. The men who typically wear sober ties go a little crazy for July 4th.
Here in Louisiana our three towns staggered the firework shows so one could go to all three! One on Sat./Sun./Mon. worked out pretty good. (Slidell/Mandeville/Covington.)
Plenty fireworks noise here in St Johns county, Florida. It is reliably red and has highest average income in Florida.
Have you seen a hearing doctor lately? J/K
I’m losing beauty sleep it’s endless
In central PA we had a huge celebration. The town leans so far left that some don’t attend but thousands of cars from the hinterland are now trying to get out of town. It was beautiful…they add new bigger ones every year. 🇺🇸
Until last year I lived in Temple Terrace for 35 years. They always had nice fireworks on the 4th. Now I’ve retreated so far into rural W. TN that we have to pipe in sunshine - but I still hear PLENTY of fireworks outside at this very moment.
Oregon
We should all celebrate, void laws limiting.
Here in Lynchburg, Virginia we’ve been having fireworks 🎆🎇 since Friday night. Today has been the local residents setting off their own fireworks. Some times it sounded like a war zone. Had many wish me a happy 4th for the greatest country ever.
We’re raising hell in NE Ocala
Fireworks all day here in Fleming Island (South of Jacksonville, FL). Still going on now at almost 11:00pm. Tomorrow all the whiners will be whining that their dogs were terrified and ran away. Also whining that they couldn’t sleep and tomorrow’s a work day. Those types are more concerned about their dogs than their appreciation of Independence Day. $crew em.
Is that too harsh?
