Republicans who want their party to support the transgender and homosexual agenda are upset that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign has criticized 2024 opponent President Donald Trump for boosting it.
“To wrap up ‘Pride Month,’ let’s hear from the politician who did more than any other Republican to celebrate it,” DeSantis War Room, the digital messaging arm of the governor’s presidential campaign, tweeted, along with a video produced by another user named “Proud Conservative.”
The video notes that President Trump’s presidential campaign sold “LGBTQ for Trump” shirt, and also that he held up a rainbow flag to show his support for the LGBT agenda and from LGBT activists. It includes footage of DeSantis and headlines of a drag show being canceled in response to legislation passed in Florida.
The “Log Cabin Republicans,” a homosexual advocacy group, accused DeSantis’ campaign of being “homophobic.”
“Today’s message from the DeSantis campaign War Room is divisive and desperate. Republicans and other commonsense conservatives know Ron [DeSantis] has alienated swing-state and younger voters,” the group tweeted. “Conservatives understand that we need to protect our kids, preserve women’s sports, safeguard women’s spaces and strengthen parental rights, but Ron DeSantis’ extreme rhetoric…has just ventured into homophobic territory…”

“ Demonizing gays is not part of the solution,”
That attitude has gotten us to the point in society I mentioned earlier.
No one wants to demonize, but their behavior is sickening and shouldn’t be normalized .
A politician shouldn’t be waving their flag .
I will remember not to reply to you because it is more important to you to hate than to love, to find an excuse to rend and revile. It is strange the need of some people to insist that only their way of interpreting the Bible has merit.
They see evil at every turn who carry it with them in their heart.
Which he deserves credit for. However, on gay marriage, he campaigned on the promise to oppose it, but then the day after he won the election, he changed sides.
On abortion, I'll keep fighting. On gay marriage, not so much.
Lots of heterosexuals do things in their bedrooms that repulse me too. Get your mind out of people’s bedrooms.
It is ridiculous to pretend that a small subset of people, a subset that has existed since the dawn of time, is outside the range of normal or that our condemnation will erase them from the human experience.
Sex doesn’t belong in the public space gay or straight. Keeping sex private is the solution.
So the law had been in force for 17 months at that point & Trump said that fight is not one I will concentrate on at this time. That is supposed to be a lie, that is supposed to be going back on a promise? Pull the other one it has bells on.
“ Sex doesn’t belong in the public space gay or straight. Keeping sex private is the solution.”
So why are you supporting a politician who waves their flag around?
Trump campaigned on fighting gay marriage. The week after the election he went back on that promise. He supports this evil more now than ever.
Greassssy has hired a drag show’s worth of know-nothings from Cruz and Foam Boy, and both of those teams are loooooaaaadddeeeddddd with homos. So, s-— it.
2012 presidential general election, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that California’s Proposition 8, the state’s ban on same-sex marriage, was unconstitutional. In February and March 2012, Washington and Maryland became the seventh and eighth states to legalize same-sex marriage. And in May 2012, while running for a second term, President Obama endorsed same-sex marriage.
The LGBTQ rights landscape was quite different in 2016. Same-sex marriage became legal throughout the country on June 26, 2015. On that day the Supreme Court issued its 5-4 decision in Obergefell v. Hodges. The court held that same-sex marriage is protected under the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment.
This is what Trump said. Does that sound like a man campaigning on changing the law on marriage?
On the topic of same-sex marriage, Trump stated in June 2015 that he was “for traditional marriage” but in 2013 stated, “I think I’m evolving, and I think I’m a very fair person, but I have been for traditional marriage.
Gaslighting again to suggest Trump campaigned on changing the law when he clearly said he was for traditional marriage not that he would fight to overturn the law.
“Mr. Trump is not as embracing of gay rights as the Democratic candidates are; he said during this campaign that he believes that marriage is between a man and a woman, a position he has held since at least 2000, when he briefly flirted with a bid for the presidency. But he does not emphasize marriage as an issue, and he makes no mention of it, for example, on his campaign website, which focuses on issues like immigration and trade.”
Fail. You can’t draw any sort of equivalence between Trump and DeSantis on the homo issue, no matter how desperate you may be to try.
They are diametrically opposed, in statements, and in actions.
This ad nails that home. Expect more.
I’ve already posted this, which you ignored. There’s plenty more out there as well:
Trump hopes for reversal on same-sex-marriage

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Sunday that he disagrees with the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage and hopes that it could be changed in the future.
HE LIED.
I support a President who has done more for this Country than any other in my life time. I support a President who loves my Country, will fight for her put her and all Americans first, who loves our Constitution and fights her enemies at home and abroad, who respects our military, our police, our veterans, our farmers, religious communities, the poor, people who need a second chance. A man who rebuilt our economy, our military, our VA system. A man who fought to rebuild our industrial base, a man who donated his salary as president and lost billions of dollars of personal wealth to serve.
A man with the heart of a lion who wants Lady Justice to treat all Americans fairly and for the bureaucracy to serve America not control and destroy her. I support a president who recognizes Americans of all walks of life, all religions, straight & gay for their achievements, dedication to America and for their service.
What I don’t support is one issue posters who have done nothing for their Country but instead try to divide Americans and teach hatred. Evil can be straight; evil can be gay. I do not support evil and whenever I find it I cry it out. I despise the evil that reduces the worth of a human being to straight vs gay, man vs woman, black vs white.

Sorry. You lied. I also posted quotes which you ignored.
This is YOUR lie, although I was kind enough not to title it as such. All I did was post a direct quote from Trump himself proving it false.
Asked about the topic in June 2015, Trump told Jake Tapper he was for “traditional marriage.” A few weeks later, after the Supreme Court held that all states had to recognize same-sex marriage, Trump told Howard Kurtz he would have preferred for the Court to have left states to make their own decisions but suggested that overturning the ruling was not a priority. He told The Hollywood Reporter it was a “dead issue.” But in January 2016, before the Iowa caucuses, he told Chris Wallace that he would “strongly consider” appointing justices who would overturn the ruling.
After winning the November 2016 election he said that whether he supported or opposed same-sex marriage was “irrelevant” because the Supreme Court had made its ruling, adding, “I’m fine with that.”
Everything he said during the campaign and even afterward was consistent with opposing same-sex marriage but not caring much about the topic.
For the THIRD time, including my very fist post to you on this thread:

You are supporting the normalization of homosexuality.
Thats not a good thing.
What about “swingers”, those married people who have parties and they all have sex with spouses of other people.
How about Swinger Pride?
Is that ok to normalize and accept?
If your favorite politician says it’s ok, then do you adapt your personal beliefs and say it’s ok?
Sorry. I am doing no such thing. There is no one who determines my morality other than myself and my belief system.
It is sad that for you I am normalizing by considering that what adults do in their bedroom is not my business, nor is it the prime measure of their worth as individuals...
I would be ashamed to be as focused on sex as you seem to be.
For the umpteenth time that is not equivalent to running with that as his platform.
As Sodom and Gomorrha, and the neighbouring cities, in like manner, having given themselves to fornication, and going after other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. [Jude 1:7]
