Republicans who want their party to support the transgender and homosexual agenda are upset that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign has criticized 2024 opponent President Donald Trump for boosting it.
“To wrap up ‘Pride Month,’ let’s hear from the politician who did more than any other Republican to celebrate it,” DeSantis War Room, the digital messaging arm of the governor’s presidential campaign, tweeted, along with a video produced by another user named “Proud Conservative.”
The video notes that President Trump’s presidential campaign sold “LGBTQ for Trump” shirt, and also that he held up a rainbow flag to show his support for the LGBT agenda and from LGBT activists. It includes footage of DeSantis and headlines of a drag show being canceled in response to legislation passed in Florida.
The “Log Cabin Republicans,” a homosexual advocacy group, accused DeSantis’ campaign of being “homophobic.”
“Today’s message from the DeSantis campaign War Room is divisive and desperate. Republicans and other commonsense conservatives know Ron [DeSantis] has alienated swing-state and younger voters,” the group tweeted. “Conservatives understand that we need to protect our kids, preserve women’s sports, safeguard women’s spaces and strengthen parental rights, but Ron DeSantis’ extreme rhetoric…has just ventured into homophobic territory…”

You need to read the bible better. Sodom & Gomorrah is not about homosexuality it is about refusing hospitality to strangers.

It is about BOTH, you need to read the Bible better, as that passage is far from the only place homosexuality is labeled an abomination.

Thinking that almost any issue can become a slippery slope is disingenuous and attempts to apply a procrustean bed to life rather than judging situations as they occur and fighting for what is right as problems arise. Absolutely not true. While I did objected, they did retweet that video, they don’t own it. Just like anything you might retweet, yes, you should explain why you did, but you don’t own it. Anyway, regardless of why they chose to retweet this stupid video, it does highlight the differences between Trump and DeSantis. I’ll stick with DeSantis.

That specific scripture is based strictly on HYPOCRISY, and accusing others of what you yourself are guilty of. Most all other passages in the Bible demand that we identify evil, and combat it.

The courts spoke and destroying the Nation will not change the law. Trump reversed Roe Wade the right way, legally not by sputtering like an impotent outflanked intellectually bankrupt nobody.

Laws supporting abortion, open borders, mind altering drugs, and gay marriage etc are not conservative. If you are a conservative, you should oppose them, and work to see them reversed.
You are outing yourself. You have been reading too much some of the classic homosexual agenda's attempt to whitewash the sin of homosexuality from the Bible. Yes, one of Sodom's primary flaws is that they didn't care about the poor. ("Lack of hospitality", although true, doesn't get to the heart of the issue. Their sin was more deep rooted than that.) However, the homosexual lobby's attempt to negate the sin of homosexuality is deliberately deceptive. The very next verse says,
They were haughty, and did abominable things before me; therefore I removed them, when I saw it.
(Ezekiel 16:50)
Likewise, the book of Jude, when commenting on Sodom and Gomorrah says,
...just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Those who are trying to deny that the Bible is opposed to homosexuality generally know what the Bible says, reject what the Bible says, and try to deceive others into thinking that it doesn't say what it says.
We are living in perilous times.
We all have our own vision of what it means to follow God and make choices that mirror those Jesus patterned for us.
I will leave you to your vision though according to mine you promote evil with your lack of charity and insistence on focusing on the pebble while being blind to the beach.
Now you see my point. You don’t flaunt the laws. You work to change them as Trump worked to change Roe v Wade.
