EXCLUSIVE: Troops fired for refusing to get the vaccine over religious beliefs accuse Biden administration of 'harassment' - and warns U.S. military readiness will continue to 'bleed and decay' if Congress doesn't act

Current and former U.S. service members tell DailyMail.com that Republicans' proposed amendments in next year's defense spending bill may not be comprehensive enough to undo the 'serious harassment' they endured by the Biden administration's strict COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Over 8,000 service members - many who sought religious exemptions - were fired for refusing to comply with the Pentagon's COVID-19 vaccine mandate enacted in August 2021. Following outrage, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) terminated the mandate, but it did not reinstate service members who were fired for not receiving the shot nor provide any other compensation.

Now, new amendments by Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., that passed out of the House Armed Services Committee last week would 'offer redress' to service members who were 'unjustly discharged' by requiring the Pentagon to set up a reinstatement process and ensuring no negative retaliation.

However, current and former troops are saying that the amendments that would go into the FY 2024 NDAA are not strong enough to undo the 'serious harassment' they endured over the last two years.

'I’m happy Congress is pushing to reinstitute service members back into the force, however it is not enough,' said John Frankman, a U.S. Army Captain, who is set to be formally expelled from the military on July 1.

Frankman, who was in the Special Forces as part of the Green Berets, said that the 'missed career opportunities' he endured over the last two years could never be undone by any action of Congress.

He said even before the mandate, 10 out of the 12 of his team opted not to receive the vaccine when he served as a Special Forces Detachment Commander and a key training was taken away from them.

When the vaccine mandate went into effect in August 2021...

I think the military needs to decline at this point. The problem with a prestigious institution is that it attracts the rancid part of society who are just politicians.

The don’t have loyalty to the country and see the military for political purposes only.

The Regime is using DEI and vaccines to purge potential dissidents from the armed forces.

They don’t care about effectiveness in a peer-war.

They do care about loyalty in a domestic insurgency.

Hey, as long as our military espouses DEI and holds pride and drag events what else could we ask them to do?

The vaccines and the current CINC are just 2 issues facing the military today. But, they are the easiest things to point to and far too many are willing to drink that KoolAid, so as to avoid one of the bigger issues.

That being.....Kids want nothing to do with it anymore. And for the ones that do, I’d say about 80% or more have absolutely NO business being there.

What was once called ANOC is now called ALS, or something to that effect. It’s where the Army sends junior NCOs(E5s) to an advanced leadership school before getting promoted to E6. I know someone who went to it sometime in 2013-14 and he told me about a bloc of instruction regarding the issues with recruits: stress fractures from minimal PT sessions, laziness, inability to follow orders or accomplish menial tasks without constant oversight.

When someone shows up to Army Basic Training, first stop is Reception Battalion. Haircut, uniforms, filling out forms, admin stuff and then a few days before going “down range” a diagnostic PT test is administered. And the requirements are low. Very low. I think the push-up requirement was 20 in 2 minutes, if that. If you pass the diagnostic, you get on the cattle trucks and head to your training company.

Drill Sergeants are not allowed to wear their Campaign hats for the first few weeks as it is considered too intimidating. No more knife hands. Recruits get Stress Cards.

All of that has been going on for quite some time and only getting worse.

Dept of Labor studies show that the number of kids that want to do things like join the military, enter law enforcement, take up a trade, etc, declines by 5% every year. That study was done in 2014-15ish.

So, it isn’t about pay or benefits. It’s more about the Left having infiltrated every aspect of society and turning kids into p*ssies who only want to be Instagram stars.

What kind of moron would even want to be reinstated into the U.S. military after being expelled under these circumstances?

I can’t imagine they’ll ever come a time in the nation’s future were young men and women will be willing to give their lives in defense of drag queen story hour, pride month or legalized pedophilia. I’m a 26-year Army-Air Force veteran yet I would never encourage my grand children or other children that I cared about to serve today.

Following the debacle departure from Afghanistan no person in his right mind would tell others they should enlist. Many are just gutting out the days till they hit the 20 years for retirement mark, then they will be gone as well.

Harassment?

More like PERSECUTION!!!

Most of you don’t have a clue what these people went through and they COULDN’T LEAVE! They had to stand and take it day after day after endless day.

They don’t just deserve reparations, they are entitled to retribution against their tormentors.

There is that. They were marked for special terror. If they were white, straight male they got at least a double dose of hatred directed their way.

The Biden junta cannot stand any defiances no matter how small if some junior White house staffer say to the DoJ to start rounding up enemies of the kiddie sniffing groper in chief it will be not only federal cops bit the local ones as well! Just look at the historical precedent aka the 20th century.
