It’s been 125 years since the Dodgers had such a bad shutout loss at home.

It DOES seem just a week bit coincidental, doesn’t it? What a sweet way to tell management “FU!”

I was a fan of the Dodgers since the days when Wally Moon, Duke Snider and Larry Sherry were household names. Frisco was our archenemy. I still recall how thrilled I was when Don Drysdale blanked the Jints in May, 1968, to set a record for consecutive shutouts--and I was there, in Dodger Stadium.
However, playoffs, player strikes, interleague play, November games and now woke politics have considerably dampened my ardor for the Bums.

I’m thinking some of the players are pissed that their faith has been trashed by the money-grubbing Dodgers management who will do anything for a buck. Just saying. It would be very easy for pitchers to throw the game.

I lived in Brooklyn as a kid and the Dodgers was my team. I loved going to games at Ebbets Field on Flatbush Avenue and even stuck with “da Bums” after they made the move to L.A. I rooted for the team long after I didn't know anything about the individual players including their names and positions. Now they have committed franchise suicide ala Bud Light and Target.

This isn’t a player problem, it is a front-office problem.

The players aren’t happy with the homo agenda either, and threw the game

I’m guessing most players are decent people - that it’s the owners who are perverts wanting to host perverts. Same with beer workers...most of ‘em are like us. It’s the big guys who want to push groomers.

Since they have guaranteed salaries they should throw the season. But I guess somebody has to win. Baseball does not have ties.

Maybe this will result in an eighty-six year Curse-of-the-Bambino type stay in the wilderness for the Dodgers.

O’Malley came in second. O'Malley was many things. But first and foremost he was a very shrewd businessman.

Is this a good idea or what? Every June for the whole month...all “pride” sponsoring companies are completely boycotted. “Pride” companies who continue during the rest of the year are boycotted for a whole month every two months They would have to lower their prices to keep some business but and would lose necessary profit margins. Losing about 40% of sales...recipe for losing a business. Don’t tell them why they are being boycotted. They would get absorbed by non pride, non boycotted companies. Very easily done in hyper communicative world.
