Bud Light has seen its sales continue to plummet amid ongoing backlash to its disastrous collaboration with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
The beer giant lost its place as America's number one beer brand to Modelo Especial due to the controversy, a position it held for over 22 years.
In the week ending June 3, Bud Light's sales dropped by a staggering 24.4 percent, even worse than the 23.9 percent dip from the previous week.
However, parent company Anheuser-Busch saw some gains with its other beer brands, with Michelob Ultra turning a sales increase for the first time in weeks.
Since the start of the year, Bud Light has reported a 9.5 percent decline in sales, while Modelo's bounce has seen it report an 8.5 percent spike.
And in comparison to Bud Light's disastrous 24.4 percent drop in the past week, Modelo soared above the competition as sales were up 12.2 percent.
The week before, Modelo's sales rose 9.5 percent, while Bud Light dropped 23.9 percent despite an expected Memorial Day weekend bounce.
Bump Williams, head of data firm Bump Williams Consulting who tracked the recent data with NielsenIQ, said Modelo's recent winning streak may be more than a flash in the pan.
'(Modelo) appears to be increasing its sales growth each week as we get deeper into the summer,' he said.
A number of Anheuser-Busch's sister beer brands appear to also be steadily overcoming their link to the scandal, with Budweiser sales rising from an 8.5 percent decrease to a 7.8 percent decrease.
Natural Light also reported an improvement in sales over the past week, although it still saw a loss as its numbers improved from 1.5 percent to 1 percent.

My local supermarket has a big beer aisle, with lots of different beers. People who don’t want Bud have lots of alternatives.
This is strange but true
Modelo is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev everywhere except the U.S., where it’s owned by the New York-based, world-dominating conglomerate Constellation Brands.

Everything Transheuser-Busch/InBev makes is horse p*ss.
Go ahead and drink your mexican pee water.
Not in the US. In the US, Modelo is owned by Constellation Brands.
This also goes to show just how bad the illegal immigration is in this country.
Or just get a Soda Stream, make your own seltzer, add some vodka and orange juice.
How is that Macallan 21 year?
I’ve been trying different brands recently. My favorite so far has been Johnny Walker Blue.
Drinking (very) expensive scotch is a whole new experience.
Bourbon: For Americans.
Does anybody have a Data Source access through Nexus Lexus on InBev and Constellation?
Those reports are fairly accurate regarding business and corporate structure.
A link would be greatly appreciated. I no longer have access and haven’t for at least a decade.
Modelo/Corona/Pacifico beer, Robert Mondavi wine, etc., etc. are all “Constellation Brands”, out of N.Y.:

Exactly
I have an acquaintance that spent a few years in Ireland on an Eli Lilly project. He spent his time working, golfing, drinking scotch. He can tell the region the Scotch came from based on the taste of the peat used. The tastes are indeed different.
I don’t taste anymore, but I used to like the Irish Whiskey as well. Those folks know distilling and we owe a lot of the craft here to Irish immigrants.
Thanks
Beer drinkers are retards if they think Modelo is any less woke and lib.
NP...downside is Constellation has an “ESG” policy (see “About Us”)...oh well still a lot better than the foreign InBev/Bud!!!
Yeah, but Bud Lite has successfully shed that troublesome “frat boy” image, so it’s not all bad news.
