My late mother and grandmother always washed their rice. I won’t change either.

Those cultures that use huge amounts of rice usually also eat tonqs of vegetables, so what minerals they lose by washing rice are probably well made up for. The Korean youtubers I watch wash their rice three times, and eat mostly vegetables and fish. Huge amounts of vegetables.

Beau hates anything in ‘casserole form’ OTHER THAN my Tater Tot Casserole, so we don’t eat much rice.
Also - super high in carbs - which is fine if you’re in a Third World Hellhole and NEED those calories every day...unlike us Fat & Sassy ‘Mericans. ;)
