Only takes one juror to hang a jury.

Let there be an underground movement to pass the word: Get on any Trump jury and hold out for "Not Guilty" at all costs.

Unless a prosecutor checks my ISP address or my actual PC they'd never find a thing about me because I never use my real name. Also I have a very, very common "American" name...just think "more chins than in a Chinese phone book.

And having researched jury nullification I'm a huge supporter of it...in some situations. While being questioned by lawyers before being seated on a jury I know exactly what to say...and what not to say...if I want to be on it.Or if I don't want to be on it.

Of course being a white,Enlish speaking male might tip off a prosecutor going after DJT that I might be a problem.

If one juror hangs the trial, it doesn’t mean Trump is cleared, it means the Government can put him on trial again until a verdict is reached.

These charges are bogus and don’t think one minute the Government won’t try him over and over again if necessary.

The best course of action is the appeals court and ultimately the Supreme Court

That is what I am asking. HOW?
You say you would find a way, I am asking, HOW?

He’s almost certainly *less* guilty than The Former Twelfth Lady,The Big Guy or Pence...because,as President,he had powers that those three didn’t have.

Don’t count on it. Any prospective juror who appears to be fair will likely be dumped by the prosecution in this banana republic.

How can they prove perjury? OK,if the prosecutor was quizzing me and knew ahead of time that I'm "Gay State Conservative" they could get me if I told them "I'm completely apolitical...I just tend my garden all day".

But short iof that...no way!

And if you have every posted a Pro Trump message on Facebook or any other website, donated to a Republican candidate, voted in a Republican Primary, told anyone that you supported Trump, you will not be on the jury.

Really? So you think all juries are fair and impartial.

As once said “there is a sucker born every minute “

So you want I give them a reason to move the case to DC or NYC?

Brilliant.

Might help in Dade County. Won’t help in the other places Trump is already or will soon be indicted - the sure correlation between demographics and occupational types that might be MAGA will assure zero nullifiers in Manhattan, Atlanta or the District of Columbia.

Won’t work if they move the trial to DC. They don’t even really need a jury there. And they will try to move it there.

Actually, lying during voir dire isn’t perjury, since the person is not yet sworn. It is considered contempt of court.

People have been convicted of perjury for promising to apply a judge’s directions concerning the law, and then not doing so during deliberation.

So jury nullification has its risks. In practice, you won’t get on a jury if you state (or even hint) during voir dire that you know anything about nullification.

Or the judge throws it out with prejudice, due to the PRA. Which slams that door.

Fija.org

I printed out 12 of their brochures, put them in my shirt pocket and took them with me the 12th time I was called for jury duty. I wasn’t selected and haven’t been called since.

I just finished Federal jury duty in Ft. Pierce district where that judge is based. Trump easily won Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties, three of the five counties drawn from that federal district.

I’d nullify that garbage in a heartbeat.

Let’s all be thankful that this trial is not taking place in the nation’s capitol. In Florida, that possibility becomes quite possible. But I would rather a not guilty verdict being returned.

That’s possible, but unlikely IMO, I think you need an appeals court or ultimately the US Supreme Court to make a ruling on some of these charges.

Think about a hung jury the Government might love that, if the goal is to punish Trump, what better way to do that than to tie him up in one trial after another, look for some type of gag order on Trump to keep him from campaigning and railing against the unfairness of the trial, basically accusing Trump of trying to influence the jury pool.

Right after the new Federal Charges were filed, Trump took to social media and ripped the entire process including the prosecutor, which might work against him going forward.

Remember, the charges in NYC are State Charges, which is a lot more problematic for Trump, the appeals process would not non-existent IMO.

Juror nullification is when a juror or jurors refuses to apply or to follow the law. Juror nullification is not required since jurors will acquit Trump if they follow the law. Real juror nullification is practiced by leftists who ignore the law to convict innocent men and women.

Almost certainly Trump is guilty of violating some interpretation of law. Likely just about everyone is given enough creative reading of the law with the full intent to find some theory under which the victim of the interpretation violated it.
