I have studied the term "corruption of blood" in the US Constitution which comes from old English law that means that no sins of the father shall be heaped upon his offspring.
So it seems abundantly clear that, since no one alive in the US has been a slave or has owned a slave, "reparations" for slavery is absolutely unconstitutional and any attempt to force someone to pay it through taxes should be thrown out of any court in the land. And doubly so since there were relatively few slave owners/

The white snowflakes like Gavin Newsome are virtue signaling about reparations. They know it is unconstitutional, but the people they pander to do not.
The flaw in your logic is that the primary goal of the Woke Movement is to destroy the Constitution...not to abide by it.

Not really. Art. III, Sec. 3 of the U.S. Constitution only states "no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood." The phrase appears nowhere else in the Constitution, nor in the 13th and 14th Amendments.
Also note that all the slave owners were Democrats and the GOP was created to destroy slavery.
Which is why the Demos are trying so very, very hard to go back.
Some Whigs were slaveowners. The Republican Party at first was not calling for immediate abolition of slavery (people like Lincoln distanced themselves from the abolitionists and John Brown) but just to stop the spread to parts of the US which were not yet states, on the theory that that would eventually led to the end of slavery.
