Cultural guerrilla warfare means hitting the enemy with precision and effective labelling that destroys their propaganda in one fell swoop.
Everyone on the pro-freedom right knows that we are in a cultural battle that is going to be a knockdown, drag-out fight with the forces of evil, better known as the anti-liberty authoritarians of the far left. We are on the side of liberty and individual rights in the marketplace of ideas, while the sinister set is still pushing the failed concepts of collectivism, concepts that have failed for centuries. This isn’t the place to detail why they are doing this, only that they desire power over everything and everyone else.
The question for the moment is what do we call them? The good news is that there have been many an article on the subject of the war of words over the past few weeks here and elsewhere. One particularly well-thought-out and received an article from John Green Let's Call Them What They Are: Communists, laid out the groundwork for the discussion.
We note that it was included in one of Glenn Beck’s morning briefing e-mails so it was widely distributed. The article made many excellent points, some of which we have reiterated over the years
A "liberal" is someone who stands for liberty. That is literally the opposite of what our "liberals" stand for. They use cancelation and censorship to quiet disagreements. They distort the law to crush dissent. They use moral relativism to break our sense of right and wrong. They don't deliver liberty. They deliver oppression and corruption.
We submit that true liberals belong on the side of the pro-freedom right and that ‘classic liberal’ and liberal mean the same thing (Just try to find the term ‘classic liberal’ in most dictionaries...

Brutal, totalitarian communist works for me.
Those of the authoritarian bent make liberal use of words like “democracy”. That’s all they are to them - just words. Nothing democratic about them.
There is a difference in the way that people map political systems or ideologies.
Traditionally, a lot of people look at a spectrum of politics, and they look at the left on one side of the spectrum, and the right on the other side.
I don’t think, this is accurate, and I think a more representative model of political ideology is one that has full totalitarian government at one end of the spectrum, and total anarchy (no government) at the other end of the spectrum.
I think this is more accurate, And in this model, ideologies, such as fascism and communism are clustered at one end of the spectrum… The exact same end of the spectrum actually.
The fact that communism and fascism are actually not that far from each other was well recognized, leading up to World War II, where the Germans And the Soviets each recognized that there were people within their ideological sphere who were fully and willingly susceptible to being ideologically captured by the other side.
That is, a communist could in the right circumstances become fascist, and a fascist could readily be made a communist, regardless of the words that came out of their mouths.
It was coldly recognized that the other side was fertile recruiting ground for their own side.
And vice versa.
When they call us fascists, 4 fingers are pointing at them.
Evil scum. And they are not “far left”, they are Democrats.
If we don’t name them, can we kill them?
Reading ‘Rise and Fall of the Third Reich’, it's obvious that Joe is doing the same thing that Adolf did with HIS opponents.
If there are objections to your views and plans ... then just stifle them. For Adolf, it was never a question of working within the system to challenge his detractors.
He did an end run on the established political system and shut down his opponents. In the end, he didn't even bother with THAT procedure. He finally just murdered them outright or HAD them murdered! And like HIS collegues... American Congressmen are all standing around like it's OK!!
It's obvious WHICH phase of Nazi style politics we are in right now.

Or Freedom on one end and Slavery on the other. Liberalism and consevatism can facilitate either of those.
I would have to disagree to an extent, as one of the basic tenets of conservatism is the focus on the individual versus Leftists, who focus on the collective.
In the focus on the collective, it is ipso facto a diminishment of the individual, and by extension, individual rights.
I view Conservatism as focused on the rights of the individual, as expressed in the US Constitution, which by definition, limits what can be done to the individual by government.
In theory, at least.
In practice, our wonderful Constitution is simply being used as a piece of paper when it suits the Left, and as an iron-clad document to buttress persecutions, also when it suits the Left.
Real Conservatism does not, in my opinion, facilitate slavery, although I readily admit, conservatism as “practiced” by Deep State conservatives absolutely can, so in that sense, I agree with you.
True. Real conservatism doesn’t. But in practice conservatives don’t like change. “There’s always been slavery.” The original Republicans weren’t conservatives. They were radicals.

Benito Mussolini was an Italian dictator and journalist who founded and led the National Fascist.
Mussolini was originally a socialist politician and a journalist at the Avanti! newspaper. In 1912, he became a member of the National Directorate of the Italian Socialist Party (PSI).
Socialist are on the far left of center, not the far 'right' of center... But the only way Socialism can work is with the absence of elections... For Socialism to exist they need to disguise their true nature and create an autocratic state. Without autocracy, Socialism doesn't work.
And Germany openly supported and voted for the National 'Socialist' German Workers Party... Does that sound like a right-wing political organization? Created and founded by a dude who wrote a book called 'My Struggle'... My Struggle? Seriously?
The idea that Hitler and Mussolini were 'right-wing' and conservative is complete nonsense. Hitler himself was a an anti-smoking control freak. He also championed the socialist cause of 'eugenics' and used it to introduce his ethnic and religious cleansing schemes.
The first world leader to congratulate Mussolini coming to power was Lenin. FDR sent his brain trust to Italy to learn from Mussolini and returned singing his praises.
I think I can agree to that...:)
