If I was to have a human hood ornament, it would absolutely be a redhead! But it would be a natural one, and I’d make sure to mount it in the correct orientation.

That driver was one deep pothole away from a murder charge.
Back when I was in the Navy, I had a couple of hometown friends who were clowns, and they thought it would be funny to go to the drive up windo at Burger King (back in the Seventies) with one of them sitting on the roof to order.
When they got the order, the guy driving the car pulled out onto the main road (a VERY busy road) with his buddy on top, screaming at him to pull over.
The silliness and stupidity of youth. It was funny to hear the story, but not so funny to imagine how it could have gone sideways on them.
3 years in prison to get out of that relationship....hmmm

While often times I agree people should be doing something other than recording the event. In this case... how do you even try to stop the car without increasing her risk of injury? They should definitely call the cops, but past that, unless you’re a highly qualified stunt driver there really is no “try to stop it”. Honestly I don’t even know what the cops can do.
One of those damned babboons there ripped out my right side mirror glass and smashed it on the ground, and they chewed up all of the rubber weather-stripping that was visible. It was just like the scene in the Omen. LOL
Every day when I read or see the stuff that’s happening now, I can hardly believe it. Every day it seems to be progressively worse. I wish I knew how we recover from this insanity. I’m appalled that no one called the police to help get this woman out of harm’s way.
Thank you, Lord, that I live a pretty mundane life. Sure, it has its excitement, but it’s very vanilla compared to what others must live through.
I have a feeling I can’t stay far enough away from this, though. It seems it lurks at every corner.
I remember reading somewhere about some Special Ops guys in Kosovo, used the acronym something like RNFIN for girls who had that odd red colored hair, and it stood for “Red Not Found In Nature”!
At least I think that was the acronym, it has been a while.

When younger, I had a friend who went to a party and was hanging out sitting on the hood of a girl’s car. Cops showed up to roust everybody and she took off with him still on the hood. Never gave him the chance to jump off. He held on until she lost it on a turn and took out a telephone pole. He lost his leg, it was smashed to bits, and he was never the same again. He died a few years later. Misadventure, for sure. Not sure if the girl was ever charged for it.
