Fake conservatives agree to fake spending cuts. Deal will increase mandatory spending ~5%, increase military spending ~3%, and maintain current non-military discretionary spending at post-COVID levels. No real cuts to see here.

How, exactly, have the ones he describes as “conservatives” been “sold out”?
There aren’t 30 votes in the House, or 5 in the Senate, to do what he wants.
Between Republicans and Democrats, there are 214 (D) and 191 (R) to pass this deal in the House - that’s 405 votes, a huge majority.
Nobody’s been “sold out”. A House majority this big gets what it wants. That’s how the system works.
The Debt per Citizen reached $95,000 this morning, up $10,966 since installment day. Per taxpayer it is now $248,041 up $25,850 in the same time period.
Why would we expect anything different. They were mostly silent when Trump was being railroaded. A couple dozen were complicit (RINO faction)
They have been silent about many of the issues that are important. Gas and oil..borders..inflation

Maybe coming up with one solitary thing would bolster the notion that never Trumpers have that grasp of US politics yet unseen.

The debt you speak of is never going to be paid, everybody knows it, the only issue is how fast will it be renounced, and what form will a renunciation take?

I’ve got to say that in the long, ancient history of Republican betrayals of conservative principles, this one is somewhere near the end of the list. Republicans compromising on fiscal sanity stopped being a surprise many decades ago.

I wasn’t. I didn’t vote for any of those turds. Everybody who says “don’t vote 3rd party” and then complains the GOP sold you out, this is on you. Vote 3rd party. The GOP doesn’t believe in ANYTHING. They didn’t sell you out, you sold yourself by voting for them.

McCarthy held all the cards. Joe went away for his regular Treatment - months after the Republicans psssed the only bill. There were no other Bills.
This is like McCarthy pledging not to Impeach Biden, the Dems were laughing their asses off.
It will be inflated away as was planned all along.
The hilarity here is there is no way to hide a $36 trillion headline unless they kick the can...................such a joke.

So glad my parents are gone now, except to be around them. This mess would kill them. The desecration and villainy abounding in America is heartbreaking.
