On May 20, 2023 the Gateway Pundit reported "John Kerry is targeting family farms. The Biden regime’s climate czar says farms produce too much greenhouse gases. He wants that to stop in order to combat the climate “crisis.” Farms also happen to produce food. Kerry is not worried about that. The global elites are not worried about that.

The Biden Regime claims they embraced the “Great Reset” to fight Climate Change but it will have no actual environmental benefit. On January 21, 2021 the Epoch Times reported “Rejoining the Paris climate agreement as it stands now will have devastating economic consequences for the United States, with little actual environmental benefit, according to experts… “Because there is really no teeth to the Paris climate accord, developing countries are getting a free pass in terms of their emissions…It’s likely that the Paris climate accord is not going to reach its intended goal.”

It seems the goal of the "Great Reset" is not to fight climate change, the goal is to destroy the American economy and the centrality of the US Dollar in the Global Financial System, the goal is to transfer power to the IMF (PLEASE READ MY ARTICLE "CLIMATE CHANGE” IS A TROJAN HORSE." There seem to be similarities between events today in America and what Stalin did to Ukraine during the holomodor.

To those saying this is hyperbole, I’d answer, Maybe, right now it is, but not by much.

Everybody who eats knows food dollars, which include SNAP benefits, aren’t going very far nowadays.

Even food banks & soup kitchens are seeing serious reductions in donations & thus, handouts.
People ARE getting to the point they can’t afford food.

The PTB in Congress dealing with the “debt ceiling” are now talking straight up about the possibility of social security checks being late. I don’t remember them ever saying THAT out loud.
The so-called record COLA increase of Social Security benefits last January (for which Biden disingenuously took credit) resulted in a lot of seniors on SNAP having their SNAP benefits reduced by an amount equal to the COLA.

This hasn’t been publicized. My info is anecdotal— from talking to lots of retiree friends. Point being, it’s symptomatic that the Treasury is in trouble.

Treasury knows they’re between a rock & a hard place. They can’t keep printing money and raising interest rates.
They’ve gotta start cutting entitlements & they’ve only just begun to spread the pain.

Again, anecdotally, I’m hearing about homeless & poorest Americans losing SNAP & other entitlements, even as more & more “migrants” are being squeezed in.

In July 2019, I was running at about 146 lbs on my 5 ft 11 in frame. 13% body fat. My wife developed type 1 diabetes in August 2019. Her inability to carefully control her diet has subverted my dietary control. I'm 157 lbs in May 2023. Anytime I get out in the yard doing significant physical labor, I burn off two or 3 pounds. It wouldn't take long to get back to 146.

You're correct in the observation that there are more than a few "Lizzo" type physiques. It's going to be a very harsh adjustment to lose the conveyor belt of food that it takes to get that fat. While the fatties have a lot of calories stored, it still takes a steady supply of clean water and vitamins to use that fat for energy. There is a lot of toxic crap stashed in the fat stores as well. I don't think the fatties will fare much better as the food supplies dry up.

Bit of advice to anyone reading this. DO NOT deal with a Mormon business. If you have to, makes sure you owe them money and not the other way round.
They most often will not pay you. You go to court? They’ll shrug their shoulders and file bankruptcy and change the name and continue on.
It is going on right now as I write this with the four fri program the USFS initiated in AZ and New Mexico.
I have not the time to explain how corrupted that program has become because of them. They owe MILLIONS, of dollars to contractors who have worked for them and they failed to pay. Court injunctions filed all over the place.

I'm thankful that Pocatello/Chubbuck is not a big city. It a small suburb. The big city riot potential is well south in Utah (Ogden south to Provo). The garden is a non-player at my place. We had snow and sub-freezing temperatures through mid-May. The temperatures just barely reached a level that would allow planting without danger of a killing frost. It's thunderstorm season right now. Plenty of water. Temps ranging from 46F this morning to 85F on selected days last week.

We try to eat gluten free and avoid fried foods/seed oils. Good for heart and joint health to dodge those inflammatory elements.

It's hard to avoid doing business with Mormons in Pocatello/Chubbuck. 93% of the population. I don't attempt to own or run a business here. Business and church are so entwined that you have to play nice in both environments to prosper. I choose not to play. My son ran his real estate brokerage in Pocatello. He definitely encountered to LDS backroom business practices. He has just sold his property in town and will be on the road headed somewhere between TX and FL.

Myself, having lived thru the months-long dystopian societal collapse that was Hurricane Katrina, the message wasn’t lost on me— we need to be prepared that these things could happen on a much larger scale.

I was working in a town south of Birmingham, AL when hurricane Ivan was coming ashore. It was 7 PM after a long day in the field and my hotel room had a notice directing me to a hurricane shelter. Nope. The airport flights were already shutdown, but the car rental place had a car available. I drove from Birmingham, AL to Clarksville, TN before getting a room to sleep. Upon rising, I drove to Grand Island, NE. A little more sleep then on to Salt Lake City, UT. Arrived at 8:20 PM. 46 wall clock hours from rental to return. My wife drove down from Pocatello and I put my bags in our car. There was a gun show the next morning, so we got a hotel room in Draper and went to dinner. It was an 1800 mile drive to SLC to get out of harm's way.
