Caitlyn Jenner has said the number of people openly identifying as transgender is "skyrocketing" at a "disturbing" rate, blaming "indoctrination" and an "oversaturation of the topic."
The 1976 Olympic gold medalist, who came out as transgender in 2015, has been an outspoken critic of transgender women competing in sports against other women. Her stance aligns with the views of some conservative commentators.
The Fox News contributor stepped up her efforts in April by announcing the launch of an initiative called Fairness First. The political action committee describes itself as "a big tent movement, non-partisan in nature, with the intention of protecting women and girls in sport—especially in light of recent events with radical gender ideology."
Oli London, a British influencer who previously identified as transracial, gender neutral and transgender, serves as a spokesperson for Fairness First.
On Tuesday, Jenner, 73, who underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2017, spoke out against the growing number of people who are identifying as transgender in a series of Twitter posts.
In a since-deleted tweet, conservative YouTuber Blaire White, who is also transgender, wrote: "'There is a trans genocide!!' they screamed as the trans population literally skyrockets globally."
"And skyrocketing at levels we have never seen before!" Jenner said in agreement. "Insane!!! Disturbing in fact!"
Responding to Jenner's statement, one Twitter user proposed that there were two "likely possibilities: They are causing gender dysphoria in young people through social contagion. They are mis-diagnosing young people with other issues as having gender dysphoria."
"Agreed—it's become a type of 'fix all' almost," Jenner wrote back.
"There's a Munchausen's by proxy thing going on where mentally [ill] parents and teachers are transferring their need to be seen as special onto their unsuspecting children," another Twitter user chimed in during the discussion.

Bruce has never struck as an attention getter in regards to his condition. He was just trying to deal with himself.

You’re right that he was an early advocate, but he was an advocate just for himself. I’ve never seen him say that he wanted this accepted by anybody.
It seems to me that most of the recent transgenders are males transitioning to women. My theory is that they do this because there is a benefit. Either they get in positions to take advantage of women (restrooms, prisons, sororities, etc.) or they get in positions that give them an advantage in sports.
Woman generally don’t go out of their way to see naked men, and they don’t benefit from competing against them in sports.
My suspicion is that most of this is to scam the system. Sad.

Jenner has to be the most self contradicting mental case I have ever observed.
I still think within 10 years, if Bruce is alive, he will “de transition” and reclaim his manhood. Of course by then, there will be fewer people paying any attention to him, whichever lane he choses to drive in for his time remaining.
He may de trans for one main reason; loneliness and almost no peers his own age or social status to associate with.
Also, ongoing hormone treatment may result in weakening bones.
Jenner will forever be known as an Olympian who cross dressed for a few years.

Bruce isn’t being fair to himself or those around him bye pretending to be a woman so I won’t expect his organization to be without lies too.
God doesn’t talk much about fairness, He speaks of truth.
Bruce could use some prayers to get holy spirit convicted with God’s truth and stop pretending because he is enabling the problem he claims he wants to help fix.
you can’t be an advocate just for yourself without also influencing others in this world be it in your family, local or beyond.

I agree with you on that. Not one of us could see the cliff over Bruce Jenner’s treatment of himself. I would never say that he didn’t contribute, but it was unpredictable how hard it was going to be driven.
