Woman, 106, drinks a Yuengling a day, gets special delivery [youtube video link]
Woman, 106, drinks a Yuengling a day, gets special delivery ^ | 2021 | 69News WFMZ-TV

It's a once-in-a-century kind of birthday present. Soon-to-be 107-year-old Margaret Dilullo said she attributes her longevity to drinking a Yuengling a day.

The Pottsville-based brewery also knew that, so it delivered an early birthday gift of nearly 500 cans of her favorite Traditional Lager to her home in Spring Township, with her family and friends by her side.

"There's five generations of her family," said Debbie Yuengling, employee engagement and culture manager for D.G. Yuengling & Son. "We have six generations in our family, and that's taken us almost 200 years. There's a lot of similarities, but I think it's consumers and drinkers like her, which you don't see often, that's why we're making great beer."

I wonder if Margaret is still with us - I don't know. This was 2 years ago. Margaret is a beautiful/smart woman for any age, btw.

I knew a “little old lady” like this, who drank one (and only one!) beer a day, with her dinner. She thought it contributed to her longevity as well. Who knows?

Drinking Yeungling is very healthy at 106.

Her 130 year old mother would agree.

Is being healthy a scam?

George Burns lived to be a 100 smoking cigars, while marathon runner Jimmy Fixx literally keeled over from a massive heart attack at the age of 42 in the summer of 1982.

I don’t see any obituary for her, so maybe she still is with us!

Gee, you mean the marketing department at Yuengling didn’t ask Dylan Mulvaney to deliver her longevity-beer gift?

A missed opportunity to be sure.

George Burns also drank 3 martinis a day. Fixx had the heart attack because of his previous obesity and working out too hard. The heart is a muscle. Marathon runners aren’t as healthy as people think as their hearts take less blood capacity due to extensive work outs.

I believe that I had a small heart attack when I was in my forties.   I was speeding on my stationary bike and was weak for a few days afterward. I took a handful of aspirin and then took it easy for a few days.

If it’s a choice between Yuengling or Dannon Yogurt.
I choose Yuengling!

Tastes better than ‘Pervert Light’ and Yuengling supports traditional Americans.

So, if I drink a few more than 1...🤔

Dang! I'm going to live to 500!

Jimmy Fixx lived any number of years longer then the rest of the males in his family because he did finally attempt to stay in shape.

Genetics is out to get you but you can make them work for it.

I should have clarified my comment. I thought it was only available regionally around Pennsylvania. I was surprised to see they're in Texas, too.

Give the Traditional Lager a whirl. You’ll like it as an every day beer.

I have it on tap at my house (which is ideal, imo). Try to experience it at a local bar w/ some CO2 in it. Really can’t be beat for the price.
