A Nebraska high school sports star has died after he collapsed during track practice on Friday. Hunter Palmer, 18, was a student at Wisner-Pilger High School in Wisner. He played basketball and was an all-district running back committed to Midland University in Nebraska, which plays in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

It is not conspiratrial to ask if we are witnessing a great increase in deaths of young folks engaged in sports (mostly males), or is it just a great increase in the reporting of deaths of young folks engaged in sports.

People do not understand the nature and purpose of all socialist schemes. They pretend to be doing some altruistic service in an egalitarian manner for the public good, but each of those things has at their heart not any possible “good” they might deliver, but just the ability to use government fiat to control the enterprise that delivers that “good” in every way and to the fullest extend possible.
Socialism is an attempt to try to deliver communinism, “with a smile” and even pretending to be “democratic”, when in fact the only “democratic” element are the one time acts that turn matters over to the dictats of the “regulators” and bureaucrats - for them, the “regulators” and bureaucrats to decide at THEIR discretion. After that the “elected representatives” just walk away and levave matters in the hands of the administrative state and it’s dictats.
