Few Americans are being politically targeted more than those who identify as transgender, a different gender than the one assigned at birth, or simply by choosing no gender at all.
Transgender people seem like easy targets when you look at the sheer volume of legislative attempts to restrict or ban their actions. However, when you put it to the American people, they are far more likely to be accepting, especially if the person in question knows someone who is transgender.
Even before the shooting in Nashville, Tenn., allegedly by someone who identified as transgender, there have been political attempts to target these Americans. Some may claim religious reasons, but others in politics see this as an excellent “wedge” issue, betting that most Americans find transgender folks to be abhorrent.
Some who never cared much for women’s sports before suddenly began championing it, to “protect girls” from athletes who once were boys. Perhaps it could be spun as a library book issue (back to banning) or a bathroom concern, or even empowering those to block treatments, initially for minors, though we’ve seen states that up those bans well past the minor age.

OK let them be trans, just leave the kids us alone.
We don’t have to watch them at anytime. And I turn the TV off.
Follow the science or lack there of depending on the situation and your feelings.

of course we believe in rights for everyone- HOWEVER, what we do not support is SPECIAL RIGHTS for the deviants!
Didn’t work in the past. Won’t work now.
As long as trannies are murdering my brothers and sisters, fathers, mothers, children, grandchildren, I could give two pennies about their rights to shove their sickness on society, on God.
Science Denier. We need to use this at every turn.
Huh ...
I know a critter that got his johnson lopped off and pretends to be a women.
I am unalterably opposed to the whole faggot agenda including sexual impersonation.
Blatant falsehood (or, at least, a devious twisting of language to convey a falsehood) in the headline!
Most Americans don't think that transgenders should have more rights than normal Americans. In other words: They don't think that there is a single right which should be accorded to a transgender that should not likewise be accorded to a normal person.
In other words: They don't think that normal Americans (should) have fewer rights than transgenders.
In other words: There is no such thing as a "uniquely" transgender right.
Regards,
There is no such thing as transgender. It is made up of delusions inside a person’s head. Someone once said (a gay man I worked with) that they needed to be slapped and thrown into the loony bin.
Until someone can define what a “transgender right” is exactly, I don’t support it.
There are TWO GENDERS.
The rest are mental disorders, plain and simple. Hermaphroditism is extremely rare.
It all depends on how the question is asked.
“Do you support equal rights for transsexuals?” That question might get a lot of yeses.
But suppose:
“Should a male dressed as a female be allowed to compete in women’s sports?”
or,
“Should a male dressed as a female be allowed in a women’s shower room?”
Then maybe not so many yeses.
Ok, that’s it. If you know someone who is transgender, then you want to be liberal on transgender issues.
This is the same playbook, as with homosexuality, in that, everyone who has a gay cousin or lesbian sister, wants to say they are liberal on homosexuality.
I know one legit ‘trans’ person. A student at the school where I work.
This child is, without a doubt, the most tragic, damaged human being I know. She (her gender is female, she pretends to be a boy) once announced in class that she was going to kill herself, bounces off the walls one moment, then slumps into a fugue state the next.
She is an absolute tragedy, but her parents, as well as the school, are playing along with this, lest she get upset.
I do notice that most students avoid her, most teachers keep their distance (except for working in the classroom).
Personally, I keep my distance, simply because she’s so needy she will attach like a remora and ignore any cues that you need to get back to work and can’t spend all day listening to her.
She needs help, but everyone just enables. It’s evil.
“Alleged”. Nope. Pretty clear a young woman, suffering form a severe episode of gender dysphoria and possibly other significant mental conditions went off the rails and gunned down innocent people. It’s not a political issue. It’s not even a religious issue, for the most part. It’s an instinctual awareness of a dangerously unbalanced individual, just as we are properly alarmed by schizophrenics. These people need help. Cajoling and “celebrating” them is a cop-out; a cowardly disregard of our duty to help another human being who is suffering.
Spot on.
