Back in the days when I spent a lot of time in Compton (going on 40+ years ago now) there were very few illegals, if any.
Not saying it was a safe place (it wasn’t) but there was nothing like these street takeovers.

Exactly. I’m just surprised we don’t see this sort of thing more often. According to the report, deputies did not intervene because they were badly outnumbered. And only one arrest was made.
