Multiple bags containing drugs, as well as paraphernalia, were discovered near the body of the late rapper Coolio.
According to the coroner's reporter, obtained by Page Six, the rapper was surrounded by three bags of drugs when he was found dead on September 28 on the bathroom floor of a friend's home in Los Angeles.
The newest report follow's news that the rapper had died due to a fentanyl overdose, according to his death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ on Thursday.
He also reportedly had heroin and methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death.
The coroner's report indicates that the three bags were reported to belong to the musician.
In addition, authorities investigating at the scene discovered 'a baggy with a brown powdery substance, foil with burn residue, a straw/tube, saline solution, a spoon with residue,' along with seemingly harmless CBD products - which do not get the user high - and vitamins.
Other significant conditions listed on Coolio's death certificate include severe asthma, cardiomyopathy (an acquired or hereditary disease of heart muscle which can lead to heart failure) and recent use of hallucinatory drug PCP (Phencyclidine).
Following his death, some of the rapper's friends speculated that his 'severe asthma' may have been the cause of his death, though the coroner's report indicates that it was the result of the fentanyl overdose.
His manner of death is listed as an accident. The cause of death confirmation comes after an autopsy and toxicology testing.

Why is it called an overdose as opposed to a poisoning?
How can anyone be stupid enough to use fentanyl in 2023? But then I wondered the same thing about crack in the 80s.
A washed up, has been rapper with no other skills dies from an overdose. Why wasn’t it listed as “natural causes”?
Gee and he was just turning his life around and going to be a rap.....nevermind.
Gone on to gangsta’s paradise, foo!
It wasn’t just fentanyl. Heart disease, asthma and also had PCP in his system.......I’m surprised he lasted this long with all that......the body can only take so much.
“In addition to fentanyl and methamphetamine, the toxicology report from the autopsy showed that Floyd also had cannabinoids in his system when he died.
Floyd also had heart disease, hypertension and sickle cell trait — a mostly asymptomatic form of the more serious sickle cell disease, an inherited blood disorder that primarily affects African Americans.”
Sound familiar?
I remember years ago when River Phoenix dropped dead in hollywood, I think he was in line to go into a nightclub. I believe he had about eight or so illegal substances in his system. These incidents for me demonstrate that we are spiritual creatures and that chemicals will not fill that void.
Amen.
The sad part?
I’m old enough to remember him.
1. Who?
2. No Loss.

If the reportage is a lie, we should.
This is an excellent example of the kind of lunatics who support the current iteration of the Democrat party.
“Reportage” of a Rapper, Drugs, Death is enough for this White guy to say Who gives af...
It’s called an overdose because he took a dose of drugs to have fun and feel good, but he took too high a dose and it resulted in him dying, so it’s referred to as an overdose.
Was he vaxxed?
“Why is it called an overdose as opposed to a poisoning?”
Now that’s an interesting question. Let me take a shot at answering. I suspect that everywhere along the line the people involved don’t want any controversy. Therefore, they eliminate any words that might cause them to be at the center of some controversy. Overdose implies medication for which there is a safe and effective dose. Let’s explore alternative ways to express what really happened. Self-harm, poisoned himself and suicide all come to mind. Can you imagine how the press would react? Also, the police and medical authorities are expected to remain neutral and “nonjudgmental.” Then there’s the view often expressed by hippies that just because The Man doesn’t make something legal doesn’t mean there isn’t a safe and effective way to use it. Afterall, this stuff is only illegal because (fill in reasoning here.)
On the flip side, there appears to be only two natural causes of death for rap artists, aspiring rap artists and people who were struggling to put their life back together; “overdose” or being shot. Honestly, are there any old, retired rap artists living in quiet retirement?
