That wouldn't be smart. Even all of the pro-Trump cops refused to show up for duty tomorrow, eventually the city government will find out who they are and find a way to force them to resign.

True story. (Like me), Tom Selleck didn’t like the episode’s unfair firing and he fought with the producer and director to get her written into the series as re-hired late in the next season.

They have full authority and control of Trump’s security - period.
