Word is spreading in the NYPD that lots of the officers do not want to be involved with any part of the fingerprinting, handcuffing, etc. of DJT.
I trust this happens but I expect it won’t.
There will always be the guy who wants the notoriety.
I trust there’s plenty who want to protect him.
We’ll see how many really call in sick. Bragg has called for all officers to report for duty regardless of their normal duty schedule.
You would need a huge sick call in to have any effect.

Of course, the NYPD has had years to get their kind of people on the Job based on the Lefty Mayors directive. Tom Selleck isn’t running the show there.

Bragg has no authority over the daily functions of the police department, any more than the police chief can order the da to file charges.
