Jaw-dropping video captured a ginormous alligator sauntering through an upscale Florida community to the horror of residents.
WINK meteorologist Matt Devitt posted footage on Facebook of the “big boy” waddling across the road at the Forest Glen Golf & Country Club in Naples late last week.
“Dios mio!” a woman is heard saying in Spanish – meaning “My God!”
“Is it really here? It’s gigantic!” another woman cries out about the 10-foot-long roving reptile that turned the neighborhood into a scene out of “Jurassic Park.”
The scaly jaywalker, which apparently arrived from a nearby river, took all the attention in stride as it straddled the manicured lawns of the gated community.

CHOOT! CHOOT!
Just wrap DUCT tape around their mouth. Two or three wraps and they are harmless. Except that tail can break your leg.
Usually for a couple of body lengths, to get back to water. Generally, they’re ambush hunters, and don’t pursue things very far.
A friend posted this on her FB page this morning. It is a couple miles from their condo in Naples.
Oh, I wouldn’t dare. The flipping them over and pinning them down is the dicey part... exceedingly dangerous. Even more dangerous than meeting chicks in bars.

You first :)
Its more common than you think. I’m from FL originally and you never jump into a swimming pool without taking a look first. 😏
Looking at Google earth, this area appears to be located next to marshland and “parkland” which would appear suited for many alligators.
It shoots through schools.
How does anyone in Florida allow their young children to play outside? Does everyone fence in their yards with 12ft high chain link fence?
IT SHOOTS THROUGH SCHOOLS 😁
Aim for the eyes.
Doesn't help with the coral snakes or cottonmouths
My grandmother shot through a school once. ONCE!
Can Al borrow a cup of bullets?
It’s a dangerous place...aside from alligators, you got hurricanes, sink holes, water moccasins and Florida is the lightning capitol of the US.......I wouldn’t recommend anyone consider coming here.....much less moving here permanently.
Bad juju 👎
And I thought it was bad when I’d run across a couple of mean turkeys
I live in Florida’s most dangerous county for lightning.
If you’re facing the right direction, it can provide hours of fascination...
Not far from me, gators can be seen lined up—sunbathing.
‘Course, this is bracketed by four signs on the highway saying, “Bear Crossing”...!
