Your brain may not be private much longer

In China, the government is mining data from some employees’ brains by having them wear caps that scan their brainwaves for anxiety, rage, or fatigue.

Lest you think other countries are above this kind of mind-reading, police worldwide have been exploring “brain-fingerprinting” technology, which analyzes automatic responses that occur in our brains when we encounter stimuli we recognize. The claim is that this could enable police to interrogate a suspect’s brain; his brain responses would be more negative for faces or phrases he doesn’t recognize than for faces or phrases he does recognize. The tech is scientifically questionable, yet India’s police have used it since 2003, Singapore’s police bought it in 2013, and the Florida State Police signed a contract to use it in 2014.

Go ahead, scan my brain. I have ADHD and you’ll be dizzy within 5 minutes.

We already have that. Head shrinks get people involuntarily committed for next to nothing these days.

Hal, could you unlock the door to let me out so that I could go vote? Today’s election day.

Sorry, Dave. I can’t allow that. You’re thinking of voting for Trump.

Good. Then we’ll know who people really are, and they can stop pretending to be something they’re not.

Great! We'll have a hive mind, just like the little grey aliens. Life devoid of any joy.

God gave us free will, and satan's technocrats are busy trying to take it away.

Sure there will be no dissent or crime, but without choice there can be no Grace.

Ironic, given that satan's the one who took the original wrong choice. Probably thinks its better that souls have no choice than to have the ability to make the right ones.

Yep, I heard about this a few years ago. Apparently it’s near impossible to not have brain activity when presented with information you know. Not knowing about something, or a face, or a photo, etc. results with very boring inputs. However, when shown something you know something about, recognize a face, or a scene, etc. your brain goes nuts, even if you decide to answer, “I know nothing”.

The control tests indicated a 90+% accuracy rate of detecting deception. That said, they were careful to clarify, detecting a deception isn’t the same as guilt. If a suspect is shown a photo of a murdered body before this test, then the same photo is shown during the test, you’ll have an inflated response as you’ve seen it before.

The message was that you’d need to be very careful about interpreting the results. That said, when you’re a communist State, they may not care as much about that.

“Head shrinks get people involuntarily committed for next to nothing these days.”

If that is still a thing, how about committing all the trannys? They are obviously crazy.
