A truck driver passing through Arizona says his dash cam appears to have caught what looks like a ghost – but of course, that's unconfirmed.
William Church said he was driving on SR 87 near mile marker 200 around 2:30 a.m. on March 11 when he passed by a transparent figure standing on the side of the road.
Church says he was between Phoenix and Payson with no cars in sight.
He described the figure as "just standing in the roadway as I passed by looks like you can see the lines through the legs making the figure."
SR 87 has seen its fair share of deadly car crashes as it's one of the state's main highways to get to and from mountain communities.

Reflection from the inside of the windshield from a video source. Staged....................
It’s aliens...
Phantom 309 by Red Sovine
Randall Flagg
The worst remake ever
Forced lines, random remarks that seem as unscripted attempts to make something funny out of something that was clearly not.
Compare that to the first movie, where nearly every single line is quotable.
South of the border ‘aliens’.
Chupacabra? Or coyote?
Didn't see it. Won't see it.
Ghosts were people too.
You mean I stopped dropping acid for nothing?
Years ago my husband and I drove to Springerville, Az for him to fish at Nelson Resevoir (a fantastic fishing trip we had too!) but as we drove into Springerville we saw a ghost in the middle of the road. I did not have a camera and so of course there were ones who were doubtful of our story, although many believed us because we’re not the type to make stuff up. Glad these people got it on camera!
Coyote
Camera Lens Flare from the high beam reflection against the speed limit sign at the side of the road adjacent to where the “ghost” appears. Happens all the time with very bright objects. Commonly seen when you photograph a sunset; another “ghost” sun will appear somewhere else on the image depending on the angle of the bright source to the lens.
That is a good explanation except that likely the only reason he went back to look through dash cam video is that he saw the ghost first with his own eyes. I agree, the video itself is a nothing burger and doesn’t prove anything.
That’s cultural appropriation!
Pretty fishy place to stop the footage. Whatsamatter, losers at Fox? Did the real explanation emerge as the truck came closer? Did the more distant light turn out to be another truck letting trash like light plastic bags blow out the window? If it’s worth sending to the news, isn’t it worth pulling over?
