King Charles Opts To Keep Entire £650million Inheritance From The Queen, Leaving Siblings Baffled
100% Fed Up ^ | By Heather Allen | Mar 11, 2023

Posted on 03/14/2023 12:40:01 PM PDT by Red Badger

A palace source has revealed that the Queen’s fortune has passed directly to King Charles, noting that the inheritance is transferred ‘from monarch to monarch.’ In 1993 a decision was made that removed inheritance taxes on the funds if they were transferred from one sovereign to another, making it the most ‘tax efficient’ way to transfer wealth.

Unfortunately, this means that none of the Queen’s other children, including Anne and Edward, have received any of the money. So far, King Charles has failed to share the money with his siblings, and Prince Andrew has said he is ‘bewildered’ and ‘in despair’ over the King’s failure to give him a share of their mother’s fortune.

A friend of Andrew’s gave an update on his situation, saying, “Andrew is in despair. He’s been left completely in the dark. Andrew’s a member of the family, for God’s sake, yet he had no idea this was coming. I gather he’s checked it out, and it’s true. It’s all gone “monarch to monarch.” ‘What’s he meant to do? Go cap in hand to his older brother to keep a roof over his head? Things are going from bad to worse. It’s a disaster.”

Speculation on the financial situation has increased following the King’s refusal to pay a £32,000 bill for Andrew’s Indian yogi healer, who lives at Royal Lodge, Windsor, for up to a month at a time with the Yorks.

“Andrew hasn’t been uniquely targeted for ill-treatment. Her late Majesty supported her children during her lifetime and had made provision for them already,” a source inside the palace said.

However, there is speculation that Prince Andrew may consider doing an interview, like Prince Harry, as a source of income. Andrew’s siblings, Edward and Anne, are working royals who receive a stipend. But Andrew stepped down from his royal duties three years ago amidst allegations of sexual misconduct tied to the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal. Andrew continues to deny the allegations.

According to the Dail Mail, the king can give a tax-free gift to other royals provided he lives for at least seven more years. Otherwise, a cash gift will not be tax-exempt. So, for now, Andrew is forced to rely on the generosity of his brother, the king.

Why does this surprise anyone? Charles has been a prick all his life. Many of the other family members are pretty bad too, but Charles was Harry (actually, worse than Harry) back in the 1980s and early 1990s. Arrogant, self-centered, whiny and self-pitying.

32 grand a month for a yogi?!? It used to be you get retain one just for the cost of an occasional pic-a-nic basket.

. . . couldn’t believe she was expected to actually work in service to the people as a member of the Royal Family.

In Me-gain's defense, I do have to point out that she was raised in a country where the Democrats (and their RINO enablers) in charge think public service means that the public is supposed to serve them.

I think the British people should be the ones to decide that.

(I assume you’re an American, and wouldn’t like it if the Brits told you how to run your country.)

What good is it being the king if you can’t enjoy the benefits of being the King?

No there was a will, but the tax ramifications are set by the government.

I would think if the Royals kept being Royals they would be fine. But Harry and Andrew made choices that are causing them financial grief.

And Andrew…he could rescue disabled children from a sinking and burning school bus…and Great Britain would still hold him in disdain. He should just be quiet and hope he catches a break in his 70’s.

"I think the British people should be the ones to decide that."

Like all posts here, mine is just another opinion, no more, no less and if some Brit wants to opine on how the US should be run, (oh they tried that once...) I am sure they would be met with mixed results as 50% of Americans would welcome vicious, blood thirsty, brain eating aliens rather than see President Trump elected to office.

Ridiculous that the Brits continue to tolerate a Royal family where people get to lead a life of opulence at taxpayer expense, just for being born into the right family. And they get to transfer their billion dollar inheritance from “monarch-to-monarch” tax free. Quite laughable, really. Should have been a storm the Bastille day over two centuries ago.

LOL! Very colorful language, Louie; but I fail to see what Trump has to do with this thread.

(And are you suggesting that our most important allies are “vicious, blood thirsty, brain eating aliens”?)

"Did she die without a will?"

She had a Will, but like Prince Phillip's Will, it isn't available to the public. I saw an article a while back that said anyone other than Charles that she left anything to, would have to pay a hefty inheritance tax on it. The new King can "loan" out the Royal Jewels to family members while he's sovereign. That way no one has to pay taxes on them since they're just borrowed.
