Same here. Thought I was shadow banned as it worked normally once I signed out. Any ideas how the activity tab got selected when in almost 20 years I’ve never even noticed it there and I surely never touched it even accidentally?

I have no idea. I never figured out how mine was changed. But, I was happy to discover the problem was simple to fix and just took one click.

Since I’ve got this thread going and don’t want another new vanity thread, can anyone explain why there are 2 different descriptions for the forums (EVERYTHING at the bottom, and ALL of the ABOVE at the bottom) that seem to do the same thing? In all these years it seems to pull up the same forum threads. Why does the site after all these years, still have weird redundant glitches like this? Why are there 2 differently formatted forum listings depending on what page of the site you clicked on?

Amazing how everyone spotted those tabs. Does everyone here actually use them? What’s the purpose of them? I’ve never used them nor need them.

Maybe so. The conspiracist in me thinks this is the most likely answer to these odd changes made without my will. Another issue just happened when inserting an image. Using the same HTML commands one picture worked and the second one took me 30 minutes and there is no rhyme or reason why it finally worked. I changed the on screen keyboard to 3 different ones (apparently the default apple keyboard doesn’t utilize the right quotation marks for posting on here) but that made no difference. I re-typed the imgsrc HTML tag after the failed one and it worked. When I went to delete the old non working HTML, then the image did not appear once again in the preview post. UNEXPLAINED Glitches are a PITA!!!!
