TMZ may have meant the empty chamber was positioned to the right of the hammer so that that pulling the trigger once would not have discharged the weapon. Then they should say that, or consult someone before they write foolishly.

Anyone with an IQ greater than 60 knows that it’s frowned upon to bring a firearm to a US airport. I took several flights just a few weeks ago and at every airport there were huge signs saying “no guns”.

IMHO, people who “forget” where their gun is, should not have guns. I know where EXACTLY where my gun is 24/7/365 and I never let it go out alone. I’m always with it.

This man should have his gun, but I have some criticisms.
First, it wasn’t on his body. Anyone could have grabbed that bag. Moot point. But this is my list.
Second, and this is a bit “go get em, feds!” Of me to say but he was getting in a flight home... from visiting town to do a show... at what point did he get the gun?
Did he sneak it in on the first plane? Did he buy it on the sly?
