Hello there, I am writing on behalf of my wife Julie (proudamericanincanada), who passed away on November 16, 2021, from a long time illness. As I miss her tonight, I am going through her history on her laptop of her last few days. I am responding to those posts that arrived after she was hospitalized. I hope you are well. Say a prayer for her if you can. Do not hesitate to let others who knew Julie know. She would have liked that. She loved Freerepublic and her many friends there.
Take care!
Michel Murray
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Corinthians 2:4
Thank you very kindly
I hope she will be out in the Free Memorial Wall
So I am pinging the admin
Canada will be free again.
Here are links to Julie’s obituaries from November 2021 in case you would like to read them. The first one starts in French and the English version follows. It is from Gatineau Quebec, where Julie lived the last 20 years of her life, and the 2nd one is from the Chicago Tribune. Thanks for your nice replies everyone!

Thanks so much for sharing with us... You were both blessed to have each other.
I’m sorry for your loss.
She will be missed.
That's ok. May the Lord bless her and comfort you.
Thanks. As noted above she should also be remembered on the Free Republic Memorial Wall which can be accessed from FR main page at the bottom.
Thank you for your post, your wife touched others. I pray for her and for your family.
Thanks for this. I may come back from time to time to re-read your nice notes and check the memorial wall (if Justin will allow me...). Julie would have been thrilled by so much love.
Prayers up.
Condolences to you, Sir.
Thanks - the obituaries really help “fill in” who your wife was. (Quite impressive, I must say!)
God bless, and prayers for you, your family, and friends.
She was brilliant. I shall miss her comments.
My condolences to you and my prayers for you both. Proud American n Canada held a special place among we FReepers and we mourn with you over her passing.
The world became a little less bearable with the loss of your wife, and a wonderful Freeper. She will be missed here & else where for sure. Condolences for you & her family, & prayers for everyone as well.
