The Po’ Folks restaurant served chicken livers, and they were delicious. I don’t know how many decades ago they went out of business.

That’s funny, not a big gizzard fan but the best fried chicken I ever had, besides Strouds in Kansas City Kansas and Moms was a gas station in Van Horn Texas. They had a sign out front that read “Diesel” fried chicken. Of course they meant truckers could fill up and get some good grub. Best fried bird ever, cooked in pressure fryers, delicious. This place?

I love their Bloomin' Onion, but since my son doesn't eat them, I go without because I can't eat one all by myself, and they're not that good if you try to reheat them at home. I substitute the Bloomin' Onion with their Bloomin' Chicken in stead.
