The Original Series was not that bad. Their movies were better though.
The writing's been on the wall the last few months... I've noticed that post-season 4, even Drekkies aren't defending the show anymore. It's gotten to the point now where we are actually 'allowed' to criticism Star Trek: Discovery (or "STD" as I like to call it for short) on social media again, without being called "toxic fans" and muted or banned for not blindly fawning over the show.
I guess Stacey Abrams will have to find a new acting gig!

90% of the crap produced by Hollywood is infected with the woke virus. It's just not watchable at all. It's crap.
What fans? If I am not mistaken, no one watched this show. Can anyone name a character from it? You can find plenty of people who know characters from previous shows; Kirk, Picard, Janeway, Sisko, Archer, Quark, Spock, Worf, Seven of Nine, etc. Cant name a single character from this show.

Stacey Abrams is the black Ted McGinley. Only took one episode. But really, the black Mary Sue had already killed Discovery.

Never watched an ep, never had an inkling to. It’s the opposite of Roddenberry’s vision, as is all the Woke Drek/Faux Drek vomitus in the post-2000s error of Abrams, Kurtzman, et al.

Just go back to the “stand alone” episodes format that worked for Classic Trek and TNG
Some of these spinoffs I liked others I hated. TNG I really didn’t like that much, Picard too pompous and Riker a true idiot, etc.. I did like Deep Space Nine and Voyager were fine. Recent stuff had no interest in.

My last trek was the first Abrams reboot in the movies and a few episodes of Enterprise for tv. That was it for me. Nothing since. It is indeed dead at least for me Jim. Same with Star Wars and virtually everything from big entertainment.
