Who's behind Ron DeSantis, then?
FR ^ | March 3 | RF

Posted on 03/02/2023 11:51:39 PM PST by RandFan

I have some genuine questions and I have no malice against Ron DeSantis or his supporters but a few things trouble me about him!

He has the tacit support of the Bushes.

I know they want anyone but Trump but as one Freeper put it: Will he blow kisses back?

What does having their support mean? Does it mean Karl Rove becomes an advisor? Campaign cash, staff and what not?

Think about it.

It's not just some throw away endorsement by them it comes with serious muscle, donors, etc.

He's also visiting Texas instead of CPAC.

Will he be hanging out with Ron Paul or the Bush clan?

This will be telling to me.

I notice Fox and Murdoch are also pushing him heavily.

Again, anyone but Trump is the cry but that also comes with serious muscle and TV/media coverage.

Will DeSantis sell his soul for all this and to try and be president and if he succeeded with all these connections just WHAT kind of president will he be?

THIS is what I'm thinking and what worries me.

I much prefer Trump the disruptor. Tried and tested and you know what you're getting.

Whether you like him or not Ron is much more of a conventional politician.

Just some thoughts, FRiends...

Aside from his “many faults”, he’s too old. I’m a firm believer in Age limits & Term limits. No more 80 yr old presidents or politicians, period. I don’t care if you’re Jack LaLanne.

Here are the facts:

1. Trump doesn’t have a pharmacology background, therefore relies on others.

2. Trump first relied on Dr. Zelenko’s success with Orthodox Jewish Community in upstate NY as communicated through longtime close confidant Rudy Giuliani. As a result Trump promoted Hydroxychloroquine (+ Zinc+ Azithromycin) and caught major Hell for it. It’s since been proved effective along with Ivermectin.

3. Pharma gangsters confronted Trump and said he would be responsible for 20 million US deaths if he didn’t get with their warp speed proposal, and further, there would be hundreds of millions of deaths worldwide as a result.

4. Trump saw that Fauci was bad news, but could not by law fire Fauci as Fauci was protected as a federal employee. So President Trump brought in Drs. Atlas and Alexander, both outstanding picks.

5. Trump cut a deal. He would let Pharma as led by Fauci proceed with their Warp Speed deal but there would be NO MANDATE. Trump modified his policy from the Zelenko protocol to “Therapeutics” which also included highly successful plasma therapy. Trump in effect was letting the American people choose.

6. Regarding mandates, any other officeholder would have caved to Pharma and signed an EO mandating COVID shots and monthly boosters. This is what Biden did to military and government workers. Biden people were working to mandate for all Americans but were slowed by court actions. Importantly, Pharma gangsters have not given up. A push for WHO to dictate and mandate is their new angle of attack

7. Trump’s enemies knew the Election Steal was coming and that Trump’s lack of mandate was temporary because Trump would be gone.

There’s a ton more to this, but for now understand one thing is clear:

Trump is not the Enemy, but the Enemy will pull out all stops to create confusion leading people to believe Trump is responsible.

Again,

Trump is not the enemy.

>> Everything else was temporary and changed the moment Trump left office.

He was re-elected president in 2020 to finish those things. The election was stolen from him.

But I think we need to get something straight before we proceed. I am voting in the primary for President Trump. But I have no ill will nor animosity for Ron DeSantis. He is an excellent governor and a part of the SOLUTION for Making America Great Again. I just don’t think he’s ready for the presidency just yet.

You, on the other hand, devote your time and energy to tearing down Donald Trump.

There is a canonical trump hater named Ann Coulter. Because of her vehement hatred and envy of Donald Trump, she has taken her place at the very top of those whom I consider to be enemies of America.

Are you trying for second place on that list of delusional fools who seek only to destroy rather than to edify? Or do you truly want to make America great again?

The establishment knows that they will be able to tame Desantis. For them it is anyone but Trump.

That’s fine I respect your decision but I just hope we can all be respectful in our debates because I know what’s coming.

This place will be torn. It won’t be pleasant.

Agree. DeSantis is not his own man, he’s an insider.

You’re right. But it won’t be the 1st time, or the last (most likely).

As a Cruz supporter who got “suspended” in 2016 (and resurrected sometime last year by the grace of Jim or something), I heartily endorse your words of wisdom here.

P.S. In the Trump-Cruz war, the Trump-eteers turned out to be right in the long run. Mean and nasty a-holes, yes... but right. :-)

Trump took plenty of money from big money donors and did their bidding.

You are fooling yourself.

Do you think your threats mean anything to me?

Frankly, your opinion holds no value for me.

I am not tearing Trump down. I am simply pointing out that he is not up to the job anymore and has not demonstrated an ability to get things done.

It is time for a real conservative who gets things done. That is why I back DeSantis in the primary.

If Trump wins the primary, I will support him in the general election, but he has not re-earned my primary support.

The media is playing with us. It’s early...but we’re allowed more than one candidate to run...but not according to Trump. Of course he’s telling her to run...she’s a loser and “0” threat. And she’s a woman...God forbid he disparages her in this day and age.

Tell me why I should vote for a 6-time loser like Trump again??

No, YOU should vote for your favorite Commie since you do not believe in a Constitutional Republic with a LIMITED FED. G'mnent

So if you’re a senator and want to run for governor...you have to leave the Senate first. Makes no sense at all.

Trump failed so miserably, yet people here are in such denial.

I enjoy my Trump Denial much more than your B.S.

He seems to have the support of many MAGA Floridians. They’re pleased with his tenure.

Based on the Kilmeade Florida coffee shop TV hit in FL they support DeSantis, for Governor.

I guess you loved lockdowns, Fauci’s face everywhere, spending us into oblivion, letting violent mobs cause billions in damage. Noted.
