Sadly, I've seen anecdotal instances of minorities embracing "minority only" social gatherings and such.
It's truly laughable, because in many cases this is completely driven by leftists.
And the results is, whether they like it or not, old style democrat minority segregation.
The laughable part is that they convinced some minorities to buy into it.
While many folks embrace and excel at personal excellence, there will always be those of any color who succumb to divisive rhetoric and outright idiocy.

Culture is more than skin color. Don’t buy the divisive narrative being pushed by the media. I have dear friends of all colors who are amazing people. We share a common culture: civility, hard work, compassion, doing the right thing.
Judge people by how they behave.
My son’s best friend is black. He’s a fine young man and his mom and I are friends. When his online gaming account got hacked, my son hacked it back and shut the hacker down. We dropped off a gift card to help replace what was stolen out of his account.
When my son was depressed because my health had taken a bad turn, his friend and family came by and took my son out for a day at the entertainment zone and dinner. Easily, his family spent $100 on my son.
My girlfriend refers to my son as her son’s brother from another mother. I see her son the same way. When anything bad happens to him, it hurts my heart.
My husband just got recognized at work for training a young man to advance to the next level in the company. The young man is black. My husband described him as smart, dedicated, and willing to learn. The young man, upon his promotion, thanked my husband profusely and expressed how grateful he was to have my husband as a mentor.
There are good and bad people of all stripes, so always exercise caution until they show you who they are.
