The longer this preview war goes on, the sooner will follow the nightmarish main attraction.
The Ukraine mess is daily looking more like the Spanish Civil War of 1936 to 1939, a meat grinder that took 500,000 lives. That three-year conflict became a savage proxy war and prelude for the belligerents of World War II.
The Ukraine battlefield is proving a similar laboratory of death. New lethal weaponry and tactics are introduced, modified—and always improved—from drones to guided missiles to internet-fed artillery.
Likewise, a similar pre-global war lineup of the eventual adversaries is emerging in preview of a much larger, much scarier war to come.
The first mission of Ukraine, the aggrieved victim of a peremptory Russian attack, was simple survival.
But now that it has been armed to the teeth and its soldiers proved far more capable and heroic than Putin’s once-feared Russia, Kyiv now seeks to push back Russians to their 2014 Ukrainian acquired borders.
Next President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that the third stage will be to eject every Russian from 2013 Ukraine. He promises to reabsorb both the Crimea and the Donbas.
That is an ambitious goal that might require preemptive attacks inside Russia and on the Black Sea.
To accomplish the last two missions, Zelenskyy needs a blank check of support from a United States that can neither control its own borders nor maintain its critical infrastructure and is $33 trillion in debt.
Americans are not only to supply the money and arms to fuel Zelenskyy’s counteroffensives, but to sign onto a dangerous anti-Russian agenda that is not necessarily synonymous with one that is in the best interests of the United States.

Many are BLINDED by their pure HATRED towards the Russians, which is almost always due to media conditioning over the years. Others have hormone issues that result in the same.
For this crap to end, it will just take a few level-headed people to realize how badly they’re being played, and dragged right into WW3, to end it. Thankfully Trump and Senator Hawley get it, but we need more people to get it.
Yes they are idiots of the highest order incapable of critical thinking! They are dead men walking and don’t realize it.

I would love to see the war come to Washington DC. Only when the city is a smoldering ruin will their thirst for war be satiated.

There was a fire 25 miles from our house at the Oak Ridge nuclear enrichment facility.

To early to tell, keeping in mind everything vegetable head supports or mandates harms America we can easily see the loser (clobbered) list:
1) the US, world de-dollarization in progress , US hegemony clobbered, trillions in unpayable debt.
2) Ukraine destroyed and possibly dismembered and carved up. Already De- populated, de-energized, de-Industrialized, becomes a permanent welfare, rump nation.
3) The EU, Already greatly de-industrialized, fractured, mired in unpayable debt and stuck with huge welfare programs, unable to raise a proper military.
4) NATO is finally realized as toothless, and a relic of the past, like Ukraine, they are totally reliant on the US for survival….let’s see how long “ someone else’s money” will last.
The winners? The new Russia/ China/ India/ Brics alliance, born and and growing stronger every day.
Taiwan? Vegetable Head Joe will abandon them like he did Iraq and Afghanistan,
and shortly ahead Ukraine…..the sheer amounts of money being thrown into the Ukie corrupted black hole is unsustainable…..and Vlad says Checkmate, again.

Right, because it’s not like people can look at the same set of facts and come to different conclusions without that being the result of irrational emotions or chemical manipulation.

Well for one thing if you will read all the “answers” that follow your simple question, your anti Ukraine cohorts are nothing but name calling, hatred and hysterics. They never discuss the actual strategic importance of Ukraine, or the real world situation of the US versus the likes of China, Russia, Iran and N Korea.
Add to that, their “solutions” are NOT the way we have prevented a world war for 70 years, and have never worked in the history of the world.
Let’s also note the total one sided arguments. The United States is “causing WW3” etc. NEVER do they recognize that Putin simply needs to withdraw from Ukraine to end this conflict.
To summarize one of the reasons Russia must be countered in Ukraine:
Russia and China are quite literally evil dictatorships seeking global domination, and they are arming to the teeth to achieve it. If you give that wolf your hand, he’s going to take your arm and then finish you off.
That is the way of the world since its beginning. Please recall Rush Limbaugh explaining that the world is organized around the effective use of force.
Russia and China have been deterred for 70 years. If you think they can’t be deterred any longer, we are finished.

It was wrong for Putin to attack the Ukraine. But there’s got to be at least SOME effort towards arranging an armistice. And arranging this will certainly involve concessions from the Ukraine, e.g. the Crimean peninsula.
I’m dealing with that in my own family. Armageddon Day is 3/31/2023…the message has been delivered.
Russia and European war and the nation of Ukraine, NATO and the United States are not like your teen son, grow up.
