Hundreds of teens broke into a Texas family’s home and threw a wild “mansion rager,” causing thousands of dollars in damages, while the unsuspecting family was out earlier this month.
Local high schoolers promoted the Feb. 11 party on social media without consent of the family — who do not have any high school-age children — and then showed up in droves to the Austin property, according to Austin’s Fox 7 News.
“We started receiving numerous phone calls from our neighbors that there were kids on our water tower on our property, there were cars up and down the street, and kids were hopping over the front of our fence,” the homeowner, who requested anonymity, told the local outlet.
The man rushed home last Saturday, but the party-goers were already on their way out. He witnessed “car after car after car just trying to flee the scene,” he said.
“It was horrifying. I mean, it was just [an] unbelievable total violation of one’s privacy,” he added.

Sad but true. Reminds me of my travels around South America. Live in guarded, gated communities, avoid ostentation or any show of wealth in public, be prepared for robbery/kidnap, arm yourself, have another country or place to escape to.
It’s Austin. The kids were merely “undocumented house guests”. Besides, “All property is theft”, so clearly these “homeowners” are white supremacists.
Your overall point has validity, though. The Turd-world-ization of America has many causes and will not be solved easily.
Guessing...many will never own a home.
I hope they press charges against the little darlings
Happens in So Cal a lot
“Party at the Moon Tower!”
This is why we can’t have nice things.
Certainly not if the progressives get their way.
I doubt many of the kids in this case in Texas come from families where the income is under $100,000 a year.
Today families with money are not raising their kids with anything that resembles morals or manners. Of course the problem with wealthy young people being total louts is not a new one but the pressure of middle class morality kept it under control in the US.
That pressure is now being removed.
We are, I fear, going to have to embrace the Oxford Solution.
“Proper parenting would solve the problem, but the number of people who are of parenting age who would actually teach their kids to keep their hands off of other people’s stuff, is a distinct minority.”
And, we have been notified that damaging property isn’t violence. Thats what insurance is for right? If some of the pukes could be ID’d, bill the parents.
The high schools mentioned are among the wealthiest high schools in all of Texas.
Third world countries seemed calm. I do remember the cement brick fences with broken glass embedded into mortar on the top. As for us my insurance agent said my place ‘should be ok’ if I take off for a week.
First time I heard of this was in Ashland, OR back about 10 years ago.
I used to love Ashland until they destroyed the Shakespeare Festival with SJW nonsense.
All the hundreds of delinquents should be made to pay restitution, as in cash compensatation for the invasion and destruction of private property. If they are involved in school activities - sports, clubs, etc., they should get summarily booted, with full notification to the school community, to include the students at-large. They all knew they were trespassing, invading and destructing the home of the owners.
This is not simply a matter of “kids being kids.”
The ring leaders should be tried, publicly if possible, and sentenced to time in a juvenile facility if juveniles and fully prosecuted as adults if they were of age.
The “selfies” photos will be showing up on social media.
Oxford Solution - to what are you referring? Searching it yields commercial and teaching related results.
I was about to ask the same thing.
This lasted until the towns people of Oxford had had enough of this. The result was "suspendium clericorium" where the town got together and hanged a few of the trouble makers.
Things became much quieter and the University of Cambridge was founded for families who actually wanted their sons to study rather then party down.
This is the Oxford Solution.
