Fox News lies to its viewers. Its most prominent personalities, among the most influential in the industry, tell their viewers things they know not to be true. This is not accusation, allegation, or supposition. Today, we know it to be fact. Early in the Trump era, news organizations were torn over whether to refer to Donald Trump’s false statements as lies, because it is difficult to know an individual’s state of mind, to know what they know. In the throes of insecurity, ideological conviction, or carelessness, people can make statements that are false without malicious intent. The argument over what a person knows to be true or false can take on a metaphysical aspect.

I am done. I trust everyone knows I could continue listing plenty of other lying media companies.
I put a lot of stock in what a Neo Marxist rag like The Atlantic says.
All of corporate media is compromised and government controlled and is not to be trusted.
> “i could not find a reliable source defending Fox news.”
“Defending?”
There’s no credible defense of Fox. They chose the path of liars years ago.
Find a credible source not to defend. But to confirm why Fox News is no longer trustworthy.
Here’s one:

Exactly if you’ve ever been interviewed and then read the article you’re just rolling your eyes at how completely opposite they get everything.
They just aren’t competent.
FOX IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. Never bother with them. Anything vaguely worth watching will show up as clips the next day. Watch One America News instead. And if you want to get caught up on yesterday’s news go to Newsmax.
Exactly! They’re gaslighting.
NO ONE in media reported on election cheating.
Even Fox News.
How can you not cover several states that said they were closing the count for the night because it was late and then going to start up in the morning again, but then have 3 of them count 100K plus votes at 3:00 AM? Remember the burst water pipe in Atlanta? Then pulling boxes of votes in suitcases out from under the table? We had it on tape!
I did not hear about that on Fox. Other sources. No one denying it, they just wouldn’t cover it!
It's quite possible that pro-Trump Fox News hosts only doubted Sidney Powell's claims of fraud in regard to Dominion while believing what they reported other examples of obvious fraud.
TV “news” makes money the same way sitcoms do, they sell your eyes to advertisers. They have no need to inform, or to believe the things they are saying, they only need you to stay tuned through this word from their sponsors. When their research says their viewing demographic believes X then they push X, not because X is true, not because they think X has meaning, but because that’s what their viewers want to see, which gets them to watch commercials, which makes them money.

WHAT false statements?
I stopped watching Fox many years ago
Stop posting this crap.
It’s called “the news business” for a reason, but many on FR continue to get suckered in with the notion that these yakkers and networks are their ideological champions and actually believe what they say on-air.
There are posts on here every day about how “fill-in-the-blank is a liberal” yet they get all wound-up when that person fails to toe the conservative line. What the hell do they expect?
Well you are if you accept the Atlantics take.
They are taking a couple of specific situations and extrapolating them and mixing them with other things.
There are a number of components. The ‘Kraken’ is one part, for which evidence was never provided. There are a lot of other things, which were ‘exceptionally odd’ and which require explanation which never came, but are not actual proof of election fraud without further examination. There is the systematic destruction of laws which would secure the election from a variety of fraudulent activities, or at the least would allow them to be detected and demonstrated. There is the conspiracy to stock voting centers with partisan election workers and exclude unallied observers. There is also the entire media/tech conspiracy to rig the information available to voters, in part coordinated by the FBI and other government agencies.
The last are now pretty ironclad.
You’ll see that folks like Tucker, for example, evaluate all of those things differently from one another, while folks like those at the Atlantic attempt to force them all into the same bucket.
Howard nailed it.
