A sewing friend of my wife’s lost her two-year old Sheltie to it last week. Dog started coughing on the way home from doggie daycare. By the time she realized how bad it was all the vets were closed and the local university’s animal hospital was closed until 7 AM due to a staff shortage. The dog died at 6 AM. She is devastated.
