The facts aren’t in yet (on purpose, by the powers that be), but...it’s “unfair” to distrust, i.e. to have your own opinion.

Evil propagandists at the NYT, but you knew that.

Here’s another play pretend propaganda piece. I wish the Right wing had the persuasive influence these communists think they do.

Pretty sure that it is now ‘safe and effective’ to say the government doesn’t need any assistance in lowering their standing. They’re doing just fine on their own. “Distrust” is being kind.

Because the EPA deeming poison water safe isn’t enough to distrust the corruption without our help

I am reminded of forty years ago when a PCB leak from an AC unit in Pryor OK polluted the Neosho river in Oklahoma.

After the leak was repaired, The Governor of the state assured everyone that it was safe to eat the fish out of the river by eating one for TV before a camera..

When the camera quit rolling, he spat the fish out and claimed it was “cold”.

Wavy Gravy and the rest of the Woodstock hippies are rolling over in their graves. Once the left gained power “Question Authority “ went right out the window. Now it’s Trust the Government.

So…ok we can’t talk about this environmental disaster because it will bring light to the government’s complete neglect of these people

…because it will cause people to see that the government can’t be trusted to do their job protecting citizens who have elected them to take care of us in these exact circumstances.

Sounds like an abused family protecting the abuser.

Can I mention that the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, who is in our lives without shame over things that don’t matter, wanting to ban natural gas in our homes and restaurants, has claimed no jurisdiction over this and is on his way to a long tax payer funded trip to Africa with celebrities to tell Africans what to do to protect their environment?

Well I did. I said it.

If the Feds and the MSM agree that something is so, than that is reason alone to check and double check their veracity.

How to explain the complete transformation of libs from being the most critical protesting loudmouths criticizing the government at every turn to now completely drinking the government’s Kool Aid. They are completely rudderless, unthinking, dangerous, and evil morons.

Ms Haus should realize that any “....distrust in government agencies” has been the result of past and present actions and statements of thos agencies.

yeah like the NYT would never, ever exploit a situation to attack Trump or other republicans- EVEN IF Trump had acted immediately to correct the issue- biden and ilk never acted UNTIL pressure became so great that they could no longer ignore it or risk looking like they didn;t care and were trying to cover it up by not reporting on it or working to fix the issue-

Cry us a river NYT!

Too late for “mistrust of big government” that happened long ago. It was strongly reinforced during COVID.

What happened to the hippy generation that was down with the establishment? Oh, yeah...they BECAME the establishment.

So to the savants at the NYT, if it happens in a Blue Zone - Flint, Michigan, anyone? - it’s a scandal, but not in a place that didn’t vote 90% for Biden. Trust the government. Trust the media.

“The issue is never the issue, the issue is always the revolution.”

“Never let a crisis go to waste.”

In a sane world and a just society, there would be a numerous collection of players already in jail, with some already having been executed, going as high up the ladder as possible. It will not happen, because the revolution would not benefit. Instead, those who made this happen will skate, while the deregulating pen of Donald Trump will be made to carry all the guilt.
