The four teenage girls involved in the beating of 14-year-old Adriana Kuch, which her father says drove her to take her life, have been hit with new charges in New Jersey.
Kuch was found dead in her home in Bayville on February 3, days after an horrific video spread online showing her being set upon by a group of bullies in the hallways of Central Regional High School.
The four alleged attackers were initially slapped with third-degree assault charges and one also charged charged with disorderly conduct after they were also suspended indefinitely from school.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced on Friday that the charges against the teens had been upgraded.
One is now charged with aggravated assault, and could face court as an adult, one with harassment and two with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.
Billhimer said: 'Each juvenile and their guardian was served with a copy of their complaint and are released pending future court appearances.'
None of the teens behind the attack have been identified.
The 20-second viral clip shows several students attacking the teen and hitting her with a water bottle as she walked with her boyfriend.
Bystanders are also seen laughing at Adriana after she was punched, kicked and had her hair pulled, while she lay in the fetal position on the floor of the school hallway.
One of the attackers could be heard yelling, 'That's what you get you stupid a** b****.'
According to New Jersey law, minors charged with more serious offenses, such as assault, can be tried in adult criminal court.
The decision on whether or not to charge as an adult lies with the prosecutor.
The penalty for a conviction of aggravated assault in New Jersey is anywhere between 18 months and 10 years in prison.

I believe this happened in Bayville NJ. Bayville is over 80% white, with the second highest demographic being Hispanic. It is a beach community. This isn’t going to be swept under the rug.
Public schools have a monopoly on kids. If you cannot home school or afford private you have no choice. Communists love gummit monopolies.
If she’d killed the 4 girls she’d be answering to God. Instead, they’re chilling...she and Jesus.
Poor thing but it’s all positive for her now. Family has to live with the trauma but I pray will also live hourly with the joy, that she is, God permitting, free from dorry, praying for them until they msy hopefully join her.
These four idiots have some repenting to do and a time in this hard world to atone.

NJ had a case where a Rutgers student used his computer to spy on his gay roommate’s makeout session, and shared it with a few friends.
The gay student jumped off a bridge and the roommate was hit with some serious charges and jail time.
The boyfriend was pulling off the attackers.

She served 11 months and was released for good behavior.
Schools need to quit calling it “bullying” when these cases like this and the school bus in Florida are nothing less than Aggravated Assault which should be a felony charge as an adult.
Those who laughed or just stood videoing should be charged with something.
Our society is now completely out of control. Major, major changes are needed. Passing some laws will not fix anything. Biggest change needs to begin in the media.
