FOREIGNER bassist Jeff Pilson says that there is a "very, very simple" reason his band has not yet been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
Artists are eligible for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 25 years after the release of their first album or single. Criteria for inclusion includes "the influence and significance of the artist's contributions to the development and perpetuation of rock and roll."

I saw Styx in concert back in 1980. They put on a fantastic show.
Styx, foreigner, journey, boston, the cars and rush all blow; unless you are talking the big hair and spandex hof.
R&R hall sucks. No Jethro Tull, but Willie Nelson? Give me a break.
I fell asleep during a Styx concert.
Were there pharmaceuticals involved?
What about Spinal Tap?
Just boredom.
Is Ted Nugent in yet?
Cher has had some excellent songs over the years.
Because they are awful?
I grew up with Foreigner, Styx - and don’t forget Boston.
Foreigner’s first album was its best:

My question is...why is Steve Miller Band actually in the rock hall of fame? Sophomoric lyrics sung to repetitive music.
Most importantly, who the heck wants to go to Cleveland???
You have gone too far including Rush. One of the greatest groups of all time.
The R&R Hall of Fame has admitted just about everyone who ever cut a record. Why should Foreigner be kept out?
I know why: because, in conspiracy with 70s FM radio, Foreigner injected my right lobe with that demon song, “Cold As Ice”, while Styx blind-sided me on the left side with the wretched “Come Sail Away”, both relentlessly bouncing around my head like ping pong balls in a popcorn toaster.
On the up side, it did replace “Born to Run”, which had until then been lodged in my head like a 10-inch knife through the skull.
Thankfully, the 80’s came and simply ruined music, so I sheltered in old Stones, early VH and anything by JS Bach.
I’m going to have to check those out bigbob.

Go count Steve Miller’s Gold and Platinum albums and then get back to us.
