Police and ambulance were called out to Patterdale Road, at 7am. The man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene, on the Ridge Estate.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Lancaster Area Police said: “The family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.”
Dead at the scene seems odd. I thought that was more typical in cases of decapitation or major blood loss.
“… our thoughts are with them”
What? No prayers? Just thoughts? Rather cold-hearted of them.
I wonder how much of this sudden death is statistically abnormal vs journalists seeing that such stories now gather eyeballs and now have a higher propensity to make what was formerly local news (and nationally unreported) into national/global news.
Nothing to see here folks, remember safe and effective.
I’ve been wondering the same. “Died suddenly” is now clickbait. It’s amplified here on FR, and the vax-obsessed piling on every thread to write “safe and effective” — all predictable. It starting to verge on the ghoulish.
This works, too...
Well, that certainly added to the level of discourse and provided useful information. (Yes, I’m most definitely crabby today.)
Speaking of crabby, anybody know what happened to humblegunner? I’m starting to worry about him.
Could put a few of these out, but you'll get a large by-catch
Lol! Now that’s funny. Humblegunner himself would get a good laugh out of it, too. I can’t help worrying about him. Not like him to disappear for so long. I do hope he’s okay and just on vacation or something.
The libtards throw out vibes. That's all ya get.
