OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said a man has been charged with felony battery after a woman told deputies he “touched her inappropriately,” according to a Facebook post from OCSO.
Erik Lucas, 50, also has a prior battery conviction in Okaloosa County from September 2022.
Deputies said a woman was running on Okaloosa Island near Princess Beach when Lucas “confronted her and touched her inappropriately.”
Deputies followed a set of footprints and found Lucas hiding in a bush wearing the same clothing described by the victim, according to the post.
The woman told deputies she was exercising on the beach at around 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30 when Lucas asked for a picture. She declined and Lucas then “smacked her on the buttocks and ran away.”
OK ... would you consider it a matter sexual assault, or simple assault and battery? A&B us usually a misdemeanor with less than 1 year jail time.
Some of the murders are 20+ years old...................
Want, or reasonably expect? An ass whupin’ would be appropriate and would keep the gov out of it. Otherwise a low level misdemeanor charge would probably suffice.
Thank you.
Okay. I only go every other year. Can’t afford a vacation every year (Bidenflation).
A simple beatdown would suffice.
You’ll only get away with that if you’re present when the offense occurs.
Be careful out there.
:’}
good! what a loser.
Hunter?
Do we not have a picture of the butt in question?
Probably simple assault and battery.
The action cannot be argued.
Sexual Assault, one may need to prove that was the motivation.
Difficult to analyze thoughts of others.
Florida man.
That seems about right ... except if I’m present, he gets his ass kicked.
So European.
I’m not even sure you can look at women without being charged with a crime
Two possibilities.
Either I was/am rather plain, or I was/am simply irresistible.
I think you’ve asked the wrong person, though.
If it were my wife or daughter I would be the one charged with felony battery and the perp would walk away and probably sue me for everything I own.
...or you get elected as a democrat politician
Ooops! I. Did it AGAIN!!
When this happened three years ago, they hunted the guy down. He’s probably still in the pokey.
