I am currently taking 20000 IU D3 daily all in one gulp along with K2 to balance it. Best taken with a fatty or oily meal.......
Or the ultimate is taking both with a teaspoon of cod liver oil on an empty stomach. That I do half the week.
A vitamin D deficiency is linked with all sorts of health problems.
My doctor will not speak to me until I go in Friday and I cannot drive 30 miles! When you are new to am area, no one will talk to you!!

I’ve been a big believer in Vit D but it is possible to have too much and it does then have side effects.
When I saw that, I was shocked. No where near that many 3 decades ago.
I have been taking 5000 units daily for 21 years. No flu in that time. No colds. Got WuFlu but killed it off with megadose of D3 in around about 6 hours. Ditto wife and daughter.
Perfect Vitamin D levels from years of diligent supplementation DEFINITELY protected One Guy’s mom from all symptoms after she (unknowingly) contracted COVID-19 in a group care setting in 2020.
Was she protected from maiming/death from gene therapy vexxationation in 2021? Sadly, no. But, before unknowingly becoming a participant in one of Pfizer’s government-sponsored experimental trials, she was healthy as a horse.
The FACT that our public health authorities did not promote vitamin D supplements during Covid is inexcusable.
The studies were clear in early 2020 that it provided a benefit but it was “vaccine or bust”.
You are very wise to have been doing that.
North of Miami if one is outdoors for a normal non athletic amount of time then (for me) 5000 units a day and
for indoors only type people, too. If you live in Miami or the Keys and stay outdoors a lot you don’t need it unless it is chilly and you cover up.
So go get your D3 levels tested. End of. And take K2. It is amazing how the ultra smart Han Chinese CCP did not sprinkle both on their population.

I would take a formula recommended to me -> 900 iu per pound of body weight at one time. If no results in a day, do it again the next day. If no results the second time it won’t help. You can get it at WalMart. The 5000 mcg size is optimum because it comes in tiny gelcaps and I, at least, can take the whole bunch in one gulp.
Keep taking the D3 and you will be flu and cold free for as long as you do it. It’s cheap, a lot less than the syrups and antihistamines etc.
