Again, no Carol Kaye or Glen Campbell. They played on thousands of songs - most un-credited.

Also if you can nominate Willie Nelson, then you can nominate Glen Campbell. Willie is a fine guitarist, but Glen could play circles around him.

I’m not sure that I’d put Willie Nelson in a “Rock and Roll” HoF. Maybe someone at the HOF said they need more nominees with pop skills and someone else heard pot skills. LOL

I agree. Pitiful. I guess they feel they have to nominate 10+ artists every year instead of maybe pausing and not nominating anyone for a while.

Agreed though, This list is way off “rock and roll” and really straying into Pop.

Zevon deserves it. He may not have had a ton of hits. But has a massive volume of work. Fantastic song writer. And I believe he has played as a piano player on tons of songs (not just Jackson Browne).
