Anarchy, American-Style

The Left runs Oceania, and we work for their various bureaus.

The 1960s revolution was both anarchic and nihilist. But it was waged against—not from—the establishment. Hippies and the Left either attacked institutions or, in Timothy Leary fashion, chose to “turn on, tune in, drop out” from them.

The current revolution is much different—and far more dangerous—for at least three reasons.

The Establishment Is the Revolution

The current Left has no intention of “dropping out.” Why would it?

It now controls the very institutions of America that it once mocked and attacked—corporate boardrooms, Wall Street, state and local prosecuting attorneys, most big-city governments, the media, the Pentagon, network and most of cable news, professional sports, Hollywood, music, television, K-12 education, and academia.

In other words, the greatest levers of influence and power—money, education, entertainment, government, the news, and popular culture—are in the hands of the Left. They have transformed legitimate debate over gay marriage into a hate crime. Transgenderism went from a modern manifestation of ancient transvestism or gender dysphoria to a veritable litmus test of whether one was good or evil.

Students have no need to jam administrators’ offices because the latter, themselves, are as radical as the protestors and often lead them on in a top-down fashion. Had they not long ago demonstrated they were perfectly willing to subvert meritocracy, free expression, and equality under the law, they would not be occupying their present positions.

Apple, Google, Facebook, and other tech companies are not 1980s and 1990s “alternative” media geeks and hipsters creating neat gadgets for the people. They are not Steve Jobs and his pugnacious Apple battling the evil Microsoft or IBM, or the Macintosh commercial of 1984 depicting a maverick throwing a hammer into Big Brother’s screen. They are the Orwellian screen.

I’m tilting at windmills here, but it does bother me when the word “anarchy” is used so loosely.

Anarchy means no government. No control. It is a political philosophy that has been around for a long time and has many flavors. Many people seem to think it has only one flavor: Nihilistic Chaos. But the notion that people can manage their own affairs without beating each other to death with sticks is not totally insane.

I look around and I see a tyrannical oligarchy obsessed with micro-managing my life while ensuring that they operate under a double standard that gives them power and privilege paid for by taxpayers and ruinous deficit spending. That’s Nihilistic Chaos. But it’s not really Anarchy.

For myself: I am a Conservative who believes that some government is necessary. I want limited government. I don’t want Anarchy, but if I had to choose between the two, I would choose no government over the tyrannical government and slavery that the Globalists are planning for us.

Interesting article. True. I’ve witnessed this scenario in my lifetime. I had a political minded Dad which caused me to be a conservative thinking teenager.

It’s called tyranny. I see no way back with the amount of control the tyrants now have and the brainwashing of our younger generation.

Empires rise and fall. They never remain.

I don’t like being a pessimist, but I see no way out anymore. Our last hope, elections....destroyed.

my mom never liked my heavy metal music, but i recently read her the lyrics to Slayer’s 1994 Dittohead. She was quite impressed how accurate it is today

We are watching the end of our Constitutional Republic. It was voted away by the young. They won’t know until it is too late that they made a grievous mistake. We will not be able to stop this; for, we recognized what was happening too late. The young have already been corrupted.

Now, there’s the rub. Since WWII Americans have become way too comfortable to be bothered with preserving their freedom. “MINE, NOW” has been the mantra for many decades. Greed and apathy have destroyed a once proud nation.

Sadly....Yes you are right on what you wrote.

We’ve also never had an agenda. The Left inched their way until they gained power and control over everything. We just trusted in our leaders via elections to save the day... and listened to talk radio etc.

My dad was very upfront about politics and it stuck with all of our family. I did the same and my kids get it. What surprised me when we were involved in the tea party is how many tea party people had liberal kids. They didn’t teach them. Why not????

The economic meltdown now underway will be a cry to arms when nobody can make a living, people are starving and money is worthless.

It won’t help that these people are warmongers wanting “regime change” everywhere but in their own universally corrupt country.

Because parents have their kids for a couple hours a day.

The schools have them for maybe eight hours, and “music” and the rest of thr media and propaganda has them for the rest. It would take dedicated work every day to try and fend off the programming.

Speaking of, Leary was on the CIA payroll. In those days Harvard didn’t take too kindly to his operations. He went “rogue” and was a little too enthusiastic about psychedelic drugs. It was overall a form of chemical warfare against the population, if you look at it correctly.

True...but I also heard a number of people say they didn’t want to upset their kids with talking politics.

My parents were busy too, but what was the difference?

My Dad had us kids watch 1984 and Animal Farm (Orwell) and others....as children. Those two movies had a great effect on me that never left.

I did the same with my kids.

Problem is, we seem to have no plans or agendas as Conservatives.
