"An indictment in Shelby County Criminal Court details charges of second-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, official misconduct and official oppression against the five former Memphis officers charged in the death of Tyre Nichols.
In addition to laying out the justification for the charges, the grand jury indictment states the officers intentionally did “refrain from performing a duty that was imposed by law that was clearly inherent in the nature of the office or employment."

The left doesn’t need white cops, there is still Institutional racism, systemic racism, American law racism, black cops influenced and shaped by white racism, black cops are uncle toms for the white establishment, blacks cops are victims of the system they serve, media racism has even stereotyped blacks to black cops, the black leadership merely inherited the white racist system of Memphis and so on, and so on.
He ran because of the reputation of the officers, the scorpion unit. He was gonna get beat either way.

These were ordinary students in both groups, neither got to select their role. The uniform and the power does indeed go to people's heads it seems.

The point of the post was there ARE people impersonating officers. They had stolen uniforms.
Perhaps Tyre didn’t know those that pulled him over were real cops. From what we hear they didn’t have uniforms. So he might have thought they were pulling off the same crime as had been in the news, acting like you’re a cop but you’re not.
But in the end that doesn’t matter. They had no right to beat and kick him like they did.

not so fast...they are already crying about how the “black cops” got charged and arrested right away, where as the other white cops involved in cases like this are NEVER charged right away...see, you cant win. Keep kissing their asses and this will never end....
Cities across the country are preparing for riots when the video is shown...maybe Memphis should have waited befor firing the cops.
